Thank you for this video. My family and I stayed at Ocean Reef July 2023. This brings back so many awesome memories. We had a blast. We stayed in 18th floor end unit. So we got to see a lot from that view point. The Gulf is beautiful and the white sand just makes it that much better. We plan to return hopefully next year. Although I will say the humidity was horrible but we still got to do alot of great things in the area. Love PCB. ❤ So glad I found your channel.

Another great video! I love fun land, They have a really good Homemade tasting. Burger basket. The Ocean reef site, Or just to the west of it was the Georgan Terrace Motel, with wrought iron on the front of the motel. And of course across from Funland was Peeks Motel. The original. Runaway Island on Thomas drive was on the beach built on a big circular concrete slab and was open air

On the left of that beach access, on the Runnaway Island side, was where my mom's beach cottage used to be. On the right was our neighbor, a lady lived there. Neither were rentals, just family use. Dubb Hill insisted that my mom signed some papers that he claimed would help her, but sadly, what mom didn't realize was that it changed the zoning. Mom fought in the courts after that for a couple of years to keep the use of her house and finally lost. I don't really understand all the details, I was kinda young and she didn't share everything that happened but from what I understood, she named a super outrageous price thinking they wouldn't take it but they did. She didn't want the money, she wanted to keep the cottage. She was just exhausted fighting with them. We were all devastated. We loved that cottage. It still breaks my heart every time I see that vacant lot. The neighbor didn't want to sell either and held out a very long time so the condo plans they had never happened. I wish we never met Dubb Hill, he ruined everything for us.

One other note,Funland was built in 1952,making it older than Koplan's Goofy Golf!
