This is one of the 1st Ted King video that I ever watched and I just came back to enjoy it again and remember why I liked it so much :)
Thanks! I love those roads and Warren is such a fun town! Nearly 20 years ago when I was fit we did a long weekend out of Montpelier and climbed over Roxbury Gap. Back then I only had a 12-25 Dura Ace double with 39/53 chainrings and it nearly wrecked my knees. Hit 55mph coming down into Warren with 23mm tires @ 100psi and rim brakes!! Now I love my X01 Eagle drivetrain with an Absolute Black oval chainring and 2.6 tires! Now I'm living and riding the deserts around Phoenix on a 2020 Topstone carbon Ultegra .
Great ride! The overcast sky and moisture would have dampened my spirit. I give you guys credit.
dying to move back to the North East just to do all of those awesome VT dirt events.
Good one. Thanks. Ted is always fun.
Great video and scenery, thanks! Appropriate that a guy named Ansel carried a Canon 5D with battery pack, and 24-70 / f2.8 lens hanging off his shoulder :-)
This Was Goooooood!!
Looks like a sick time Kids. : )
Makes me homesick
It's really cool to see a video from so close to wear I live
Great job!
Very nice ride and a rare triple silo sighting to boot. Hard to beat that. Should do a sugarhouse ride. Hit all the local sugarhouses. Take care, Al
Your more than welcome to come to Scotland anytime, when evrything is back to normal should look at the nc500 or some other routes 👌🏻⛰️
Vermont hosts the only carthusian monastary in the country.
I am a Christmas elf.
Wait, now I need to know what "Cradle to Gravel" is
Did my second century ride last month while home visiting, Derby to Burlington. ✊✌️
Well played lads,
And potential race course?
And credit card bike packing is how I did a Lap of Taiwan a couple of years ago when international travel was still a thing?!
I was waiting for Ted To take off his shirt to reveal an Untapped tattoo
Sweet video, sub’d new to gravel, MTB’r dabbling with drop bars, just did my longest ride 43miles, HB to Yorba Linda in OC SoCal on the Santa Ana river trail for my lunch ride
i want the red gloves :)
Awesome! what is that camera strap you use that sits in the small of your back? I nordic ski and ride with my camera but it flops all over. thanks
Rich, check out the Outer Shell Camera Strap. What you're after is a 3-point design that keeps it snug. An easy clip on the 3rd strap makes all the difference.
Is there a ride gps link for this?? Amazing vid/ride!
Veggie burger is my thing :)
Got a gps track of this? Im gonna be riding a loop with by Brother from his house in East Poultney this summer and would love to tie in some of these roads
Would I be insane to try and bike pack Vermont on 26-28mm tires (Panaracer gravel king sk probably) lol? Really want to ride out there but I only have a road bike. Most of the gravel I see in videos looks fairly well maintained but of course it wouldn’t be easy.
What tires were on both bikes for this ride?
When will these untapped gloves be available in the untapped store? I like them.
😄
To the gentlemen at the beginning of the video ... I will biketour Scotland summer 2021 visiting the castles of clan comyn (my ancestors)... connect with me if you want to link up!
There is a Comyn castle where I live nothing worth seeing just a mound of mud in a wood.
@@AngusOg69 Wonderful :) . I am coming to see it! I would love to offer you cake and coffee for brining this to my attention
Do you have a route for this or GPX or Strava link? I asked this question a year ago and never got a response.
Do these trails allow class 2 ebikes?
Pretty much all these trails were legal class 4 roads, which is just like any other dirt road in VT, just not maintained by the town. So yes! All types of bikes aloud!
where's the gpx file for this route?
Did you say beer? :)
Great that you did this but not enough of the actual route. Too much footage of dudes and yacking. More so credit card touring than anything. More of that peak foliage colour shots.
Must be so great to not have to have real jobs.
You got me at "beer-centric gravel"...
