  • Mother's day is the worst day of the year if you are childless (not by choice). In this video I tell you all the ways I've learned to cope with being childless on Mother's day. I hope this helps.

The mother's day hoopla is an illusion. 364 days in the year, the mother's does EVERYTHING. I see these women at the laundromat with mountains of dirty clothes, while their teenage kids and hubby sit by on their phones. Same deal with the grocery store. It takes a major toll on these women bodies to take care of these people because "she's the mom". It would make more sense if all these people in these mom's lives would help out 364 days a year, instead of paying lip service one day a year on mother's day. I'm childless by choice after being a nanny to four kids (when I was in my 30's), I decided I didn't care for the lifestyle of "motherhood". It was too much of an investment in time and effort, and the return on this investment was too small and not worth it. I'm happy there are women on the planet the loves being moms, so I don't have to worry about a decrease in the human population.
    Happy Childfree Day! 👍👍
