Kandu Arts Social Hub of Positivity

Kandu Arts Social Hub of Positivity is a unique community space in Chippenham, offering a wide range of free arts and music activities and workshops for all ages and abilities. We provide a warm, safe space to drop in and chat and have a cup of tea, or play some music on the instruments we offer for everyone to use, or make some art by yourself or with your children, using our paints, brushes and other equipment. We are run exclusively by volunteers with no funding. In the S.H.O.P. you can purchase some of the amazing art made by our volunteers, and more.
The shop space displayed in the video is our old space in Emery Gate, which has since the end of last year been replaced with a smaller but in other ways more accessible space a few doors down, opposite Holland & Barrets. This video records that early part of our history, our first three years. Sadly Barbara Beasley who was a prominent volunteer and member of our community isn't with us anymore, but will be forever in spirit and in memory.
