Heyyyy lovies, In this video I am trying out a brand new mould from Amazon (linked below) I am using Jesmonite AC100 to create two sets of coasters in a Sheep design and Lemons design. I am using Squeezy bottles to pipe the design on to the silicone mould. I am head over heels in love with the Jesmonite Sheep. Let me know in the comments if you have tried any designs. I am also showing how to seal Jesmonite and the method I use that gets the best jesmonite sealed effect.

Love them so much. The little sheep are cuteness overload. Does jesmonite scratch you molds. ? Have you noticed losing the shine. ? Can you do both resin and then make another creation out of jesmonite or do you have jesmonite molds and resin designated molds?? Claire I love your creations and you are easy to follow. thank you so much xx heyyy lovely ... no they wont break xx depending ... I have dropped a huge pot and it bounched and dented my wooden floor .. I also dropped a coaster earlier from todays filming and it bounced ... However .. If you dropped it on to concrete there is ahigher chance than it breaking on wood flooring x
Any advice on how to stop the holder bowing. I tried packing it out but had the opposite issue. Looks like yours stayed pretty straight in this one (talking about the opening bit bending inward)

Heyyyyy Ann ... yes absolutely you can x You just need to remember. Jesmonite DOES NOT stick to Resin ... but Resin does stick to jesmonite. So you can back and top coat in Resin ... but not the other way around x

Love it, do you use pure pigment for the sheep/first layer? Or have to mix with jesmonite?

Hi Claire. I've bought some jesmonite but not tried making anything yet. Will the mixed jesmonite in the plastic bottles stay runny or will it set hard too? Just wondered if you could use for any fill holes afterwards if still soft? Thanks x

Thankyooooo xx It can do yes ... you have to be fast fast ... luckily I still have all my bottles .. but with the plastic ones you can always use a cocktail stick to poke out if it dries. Trick is to pipe and then wash out immediately xxx

hello! :) I hope you can help me, I haven't found any information about this on the internet. I left jesmonite on my mixer and it hardened on it. Is there any way I can somehow diasolve jesmonite or help it come off of the surfice of the plastic mixer ? Thank you ❤
Heyyyyy lovely ... im afraid it would be a hammer and chisel job ... once cured Jesmonite is as tough as rocks. You could leave it in a bucket of water for a while and hope that it can dissolve. It is bio degradable to technically it should dissolve after timem

Just wondering can you put paper in Jesmonite? Like lay the picture down, for example a picture of a flower, then pour Jesmonite over it?

The lemon ones remind me of an avocado, not a bad thing either! Sheep are adorable. Would like to see them with black hoofs, eyes and noses! (Just my opinion though) Claire, how solid/ hard does the jesmonite cure? Does it cure as solid as resin?

How hard does this material get after a full curing?
Solid as a rock Thomas ... its classed as NOT shatter proof but you would have to drop it from high up and on to concrete for it to break
I dropped a large plant pot and it bounced off my floors ... (not on purpose I have to add) lol left a dent in my wooden floor.

is it safe to put hot drinks on them
Yes all safe
If you leave the items with sweat marks out to dry for a few days instead of 1 day before sealing, quite a lot of them go away completely

@@ClairesCraftyCorner no worries! Some people mention a spot that gets some sun will do it a bit faster but I’ve just left mine for enough days to get how I wanted it.
