We’ve organized them in groups to make them much easier to learn. Very important: “Vous” isn’t only use for the plural of “tu/you”. It is a must to use “vous” instead of “tu” when talking to an unfamiliar person, an older person, your boss etc... ‘tu” is very familiar so anyone that isn’t your friends, family, or colleague, you should use “vous” when talking to them otherwise it is considered very rude and way too familiar. A person will tell you if you can address them with the familiar “tu”. This is a very important rule in France. Wise words from a French friend living in the US.

This video is great! I love how we can hear at a normal speed as if someone is talking and then breaking it down slowly so I can hear how each word is pronounced. It’s perfect.

Yes, it’s really helpful. Allowing a little more time for the listener to repeat out loud the slow motion sentence would be great for the next video.

This is a good 'refresher' if you already know some french, its well organised and highly relevant. It demonstrates the use in context so more advanced users can hear normal talking speed usage and there are extra bits (words) to learn in the context setting sections. I need to find something like this in Spanish now! Thx.

I'm a Frisian/Dutch woman.
I speak Frisian, Dutch, Afrikan, German and English.
Frisian, Dutch and Afrikan are very simmilar so that was easy.
German has a lot of the same words but it was a bit harder.
We are tought English at a young age and every movie has dutch subtitles.
so that was doable.
11 days ago I started to learn French.
I hour a day.
'Now I can read french and I can pronounce french words.
Unfortunately I still can't form a lot of good french sentences yet.
But I think I'm going to fast at the moment lol.
I am 52, not particulary smart so If I can do it anyone can.
This course is pretty good!
With this one you have all the basics.
I know because I've seen a few of them lately...

That was amazing i really loved the way every thing was set up explained and pronounced just excellent , my first language is Spanish , i learned English on my own as a second language , and also learned how to speak Haitian Creole which is a broken French i think will help me a lot while learning french since so many words are either pronounced the same or similar,the same happens with my Spanish there are so many words in french similar to spanish it will make it so much easier to learn how to speak french , am all for it now , thanks for the lessons , just subscribed ....
My native language is Kyrgyz, and I know Russian as a native language, and now my english level is intermediate, and I maybe will learn french.
It needs no saying for France and Spaim are closed neighbours, so their languages are due to much alike---though it is not the case with Russian and German, or Polish and Italian, for Russian and Polish are absolutely harsh and difficult to understand let alone learn.
