Charl Kinnear was a South African police officer who served as a detective in the anti-gang unit of the Western Cape police. He was known for his work in investigating organized crime and gang-related activities in Cape Town, South Africa.
Kinnear was tragically assassinated on September 18, 2020, outside his home in Bishop Lavis, Cape Town. He was shot multiple times while sitting in his car and passed away at the scene. His death shocked the nation and raised concerns about the safety of law enforcement officials in South Africa.

The shooter who killed Charl Kinnear was identified and arrested by South African police in November 2020, about two months after the assassination. The suspect, Zane Kilian, a former rugby player turned private investigator, was arrested on charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and the illegal interception of communications.
According to media reports, Kilian is alleged to have been involved in the surveillance of Kinnear's home and movements in the weeks leading up to the shooting. It is believed that he provided the shooter with the necessary information to carry out the attack.
The investigation into Kinnear's murder is ongoing, and Kilian's case is expected to go to trial in the near future. The killing of Kinnear has raised concerns about the safety of law enforcement officials in South Africa and the need to address the ongoing problem of gang-related violence in the country.

Just a question...the suspect identified as Zane Killian...was he the actual shooter as shown in the still pics?....because from the news sources in South Africa it only reports him as 'pinging' Kinnear's mobile phone...waiting for your response...
