This video answered so many questions for me. Living in East Texas I have friends that do cowboy for a living but I don’t want to ask too much about their business out of respect. Love the podcast man I’ll definitely be a regular listener.

I did tons of day work from Oregon to Oklahoma, made 40-50 dollars a day lol.. ( I’m a little older) it’s not a great livin.. I been a horse shoer for 30 years plus I always had a CDl , Drove truck, hauled cattle... Buster is telling nothing but truth lol.. I like him and I want meet him someday
I have no clue about the cowboy lifestyle but I appreciate the culture and listening to you guys and gals. 👍

I'm glad you incorporate the topic of fitness in ranching. In my experience, a healthy hand is a top hand, capable and healthy to take on the various tasks in a day, emergencies, routine, day in day out. I usually finish my day anticipating the next one. I love earning my meal! Dale yeah!

I would love to work on a ranch and work with horses and learn to shoe and train horses. I'm 32 going on 33. I grew up on a horse farm. now I'm looking at my life and I'm like dang I ain't happy with my life at all.. great advice guys. love your pods and videos.

He said he works up in nebraska for Hawthornes in Aurther neb my grandfather worked horses in that country from 1920 to 1975 and knew craig very well and craig knows my family I grew up ranching just north of his place in hyannis ne ask him if he knows Joe Minor, Abbotts, Sibbotts , Thrustons, Monnahanns love the sandhills thats cowboy country Ol'Son

Tons of great advice. As far as fighting goes, I can and I'm very dangerous in one because of life when I was in the military, I just don't like to fight. Last fight I got into was 3 years ago and it was with my wife's stepfather and I almost put him in the hospital because I snapped because he threatened to put his hands on my mother in law in front of me
