I wonder why Ville didn’t do the backup vocals in the chorus, like on the record. Would’ve been cool to hear them together on this one! Thanks so much for uploading all of these, I’ve been watching/listening to these videos all weekend! 🤩
Maybe it's not that much about JP. And he is actually busy right now doing his solo career in Finnish and performing at Finnish TV in a show called "Elämäni biisi" = "The Song of my life" where guests comes in a studio with a song that is performed by studio band with different singers (which includes JP) and other guests try to guess whose song is that and this. Next year he is going to do some gigs with a band called "Yö" whose singer and frontman died a few years back. And he published that his next solo career single will come out at the end this month and another album is on the way. Ville said in some interview that PB hiatus was mostly because he wanted to do quite different kind of music in which others didn't had passion. That's is probably the reason why S-Tool had other people with him. I think that Ville (and probably others) is tired to do any long tours outside Finland.
@@waazie5668 Yeah, all that makes sense. This whole 20th anniversary small tour seems like a one and done type deal. Super bummed I missed the chance to go to Finland but I guess I can hope they do it again in 2026 for Lust Stained Despair lol.
@@waazie5668And there's also Raskasta Joulua (and possibly his own Christmas tour again, although he hasn't said anything about doing that yet so he might be skipping a solo Christmas tour this year). And probably Raskasta Iskelmää in the summer, too.
@@ChrisYork-xh9zqJP has been interviewed after the gigs in Helsinki for Radio Rock and Chaoszine, both interviews in Finnish. He said in the other interview that there was only a plan for a one gig in Oulu and one gig in Helsinki but the whole thing went crazy when there came two more gigs (Jyväskylä and Tampere) and eventually it went full crazy (all the rest). He also said that Ville had said that he didn't felt like the ending of the band in 2015 were done in a way that he thought beforehand. JP didn't mention about how the discussion of this ongoing anniversary tour had eventually started. He also mentioned that Charon hasn't got any real plans to make a comeback. But he didn't say that is impossible in the future but they don't feel it is possible right now in the near future.

why no Laihialla on guitar solo part 😝🤔
At around 2:32, and even before, we can see that he starts having issues with his guitar, and may have said to the other guy to improv a solo
