In this video Shabir Ally talks about the 7 deadly sins in islam, these sins are very major and serious. So if you've been committing these sins you must repent now and never go back to them because they doom a person to the hellfire.
1. Shirk: Associating others with Allah in lordship, worship & his names and attributes.
2. Magic: Performing Black magic e.g. cause divorce between husband and wife.
3. Murder: Killing an innocent soul.
4: Consuming orphans wealth: Eating up charity money which belongs to orphans or people in need.
5: Consuming Interest (Riba): Eating interest, giving interest & signing the contract all are guilty.
6. Fleeing from the battlefield: Running away from the front line when war breaks out.
7. Slandering chaste innocent women: Calling them names without having 4 witnesses or any proof that the women has committed adultery or is unchaste.
Others MAJOR SINS:
8. Adultery: Committing sexual intercourse with the opposite gender who is not your spouse.
9. Alcohol: Drinking Alcohol
10. Not Praying: Leaving the prayer without a legitimate excuse.
11. Disrespecting Parents: Being rude to your parents and not fulfilling there rights.
And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Avoid the seven sins that doom a person to Hell.” It was said: What are they, O Messenger of Allaah? He said: “Associating others with Allaah (shirk); witchcraft; killing a soul whom Allaah has forbidden us to kill, except in cases dictated by Islamic law; consuming orphans’ wealth; consuming riba; fleeing from the battlefield; and slandering chaste, innocent women.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (2767) and Muslim (89).
These sins are very major so if you have committed these sins you need to repent before death comes to you or else you will end up in the hellfire.

Quran told about the conquest of makkah when it was highly unlikely.
“May Abu Lahab perish, and may his two hands be cut off. The wealth he accumulated to destroy Islam has not availed him or saved him from destruction; he will soon fall into the flaming fire of Hell”. (111:1-3)
Quran said that about abu lahab and all he has to do was to embarrass islam and quran would not have been right but none of quran verse are wrong.

Earning more than your usual salary is good since your boss likes that you do your work properly...Riba is like loansharks and Banks that gives any type of interest...Interest is haram because you never did anything to earn that interest...investing is ok since you use your own money to work/earn

killing a soul that Allah has sanctified except for a just cause,
consuming usury, usurping the property of an orphan, fleeing the battlefield, and accusing chaste but unwary believing women.”

Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi (authenticity agreed upon) according to Al-Bukhari and Muslim

Jazakom Allah khyran for this video. Kindly reconsider using the term "Abrahamic Religions" because it is a misnomer and it misinforms viewers. There is only one "Abrahamic Religion" which is Islam. The Quran is very clear about that, Allah SWT tells us that there is only ONE religion [Islam] from Adam to Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them all). Their shariah was different, but they were all Muslims, and they all came called people to one religion: Islam. Allah SWT says in (3: 67): "مَا كَانَ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ يَهُودِيًّا وَلَا نَصْرَانِيًّا وَلَـٰكِن كَانَ حَنِيفًا مُّسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ", English interpretation: "Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian; he was a Muslim, wholly devoted to God. And he certainly was not amongst those who associate others with Allah in His divinity.". And He SWT says in (3:19): "إِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْإِسْلَـٰمُ ۗ وَمَا ٱخْتَلَفَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْعِلْمُ بَغْيًۢا بَيْنَهُمْ ۗ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِيعُ ٱلْحِسَابِ", English interpretation "Surely the religion in the Providence of Allah is Islam. And in no way did the ones to whom the Book was brought differ (among themselves) except even after the knowledge came to them, being inequitable among themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the signs of Allah, then surely Allah is swift at the reckoning." May Allah SWT grant us a deep understanding and open our doors.

You can be forgiven for any of them if you repent to Allah and turn away from them. Even shirk can be repented from (for example a Trinitarian Christian or Hindu reverting to Islam) before death.

If you are in real need then you can take loan, Allah (swt) warns us from taking the interest but if you really NEED a loan then you can take it, Allah (swt) never burdens a single soul beyond its capabilities and you are the one paying it back not taking the money. Allah (swt) is Arrahman Arraheem

I'm sorry you've heard only about hell... There is good news to you, you can have heaven if you try to avoid sins max... And increase your good deeds, since Allah is the most forgiving. He hides your sins with your good deeds. Of course we're all sinners. And we need Allah to live here and in the next world. He created us, and according to our belief we're his slaves... But he's a very very kind master who loves his slaves. Imagine when humans create robots, we expect them to do the work we desire and they have a user manual. It's just the same, we have a user manual. It's Quran. It is our only light to heaven, our only hope.
