It wasn't necessary to end Clays's character here, and that too like this. Quite shocking. This character was nicely balanced to experiencing lots of ups and downs in life just like Jason. Clay was the one of the reasons to watch this series' each episode with same zeal.
Agree they should not have killed off Clay the the way they did. Clay deserved a happier ending after everything they put him through.
