If you are a midflielder work on your ball protection and strength. I find that using my body when I am pressured helps me. They either foul you, or you are able to get out of the situation. Win-win
Or you get bodied 😂
@@georgeleach4514 yeah if they’re built like you are😭
Thank you that's helped alot I'm a winger and I'm always scared taking people one on one
Same bro.but now it is fine
Same bro I don’t even have the carriage to call for ball or anything
@@sihlemsimango8444 bro you are just like me I'm always scared to ask for the ball because I'm afraid I will lose the ball
Ask for the ball even if your nervous. Scan the field before you receive it and make that a habit. You lose the ball ? So what it happens that’s part of the game. Trust in your abilities and try and complete more passes than lost of possession. As you built up your confidence and practice that scenario, your percentage of completing a pass or a dribble or a shot after you receive the ball will increase over the number of times you lose the ball.
@@tkats9673 thx
As a defender/full-back, I get nervous all the time. This video really helped me, I understood what was wrong but didn't know how to handle it, thanks bro
3:21 thats the best advice
He's wearing KEDAH FA JERSEY FROM MALAYSIA 😳🔥🇲🇾
I know! I was shocked bro
I literally thought I saw Lionel Messi for a second....
Another tip (just my opinion):
I was playing with people older than me even know I was bad than them, I was improving every day and without knowing my confidence boosted a lot and now I’m not that nervous when it comes to matches with people of my age.
I can relate so much to this. I found a group of college players that let me play with them and I tremendously got better. I’m in 9th grade and I’m so grateful I found them because it has made me a better player.
"Be water my friend"
He's back Bois
Thank you very much, like I was just searching for a video like this and you just uploaded this
Thanks for your upload regarding how to prepare for a tryout it made me more confident while I was playing.
Thank you very much Dave I really did appreciate this valuable information 🙌!
Thank you so much!! I've played so much football at a competitive level but I always get nervous and antsy when I haven't played in a while or when others talk to me when i'm on the field. The never wanting to make a mistake part is so true because when I was younger I was always told I wasn't good enough and that's why i'm always so hard on myself even when others tell me not to and to just relax. I had my first actual intense football game this past tuesday and I started off okay but Sold the brrad midway. Let the thoughts get to my head and ended up finishing the game terribly. Thank you for these tipe though. Some of then I know are true eg. The thoughts point you made because I aleays play my best football when i'm not thinking. Once again. Thank younso much. You earned a new sub
I'm a bit nervous, it's the day before my assessment to join one of the best teams in my area. I believe in myself and will make it!!!
@@benflood1077 I believe in you as well mate. Sorry i'm a bit late to the comment but I hope everything worked out for you!

thanks for the advice, Hugo Lloris!!
THANKS LOVE U
U HELPED ME ALOT❤️
Enjoyed the video a lot! So many young and not footballers should have these aspects in focus. it can result in tremendous performance improvements without even having to become a better player in absolute terms. Thank you a lot! I found this very motivational and convincing
Love your videos man 💯👏
Thank you for your help big time
Thank you this helped a lot 👍
Really helpful
Best video to build confidence Sir for you i have to much respect❤❤❤
Great advice🙌
Wow, Kedah's shirt from Malaysia 🇲🇾🔥
During my futsal game today I let my teammates get inside my head and I took my anger out on them. I was not proud of my actions and rn I feel guilty for doing so bc I normally don’t get angry. I had a talk with my coach about it. This video has helped me a lot. I have 3 more games this weekend so I will apply these tips for my future games.
How are you playing Futsal?

Ik no one will read this but this has helped me so much just this video bc I never new why I was playing bad but I realised I just needed to be more calm on the ball even at academy level which I play at we all panic sometimes
Thank you this was really helpful I have a game today hope it works
nice vid man....helpful
I love your content .
Thanks a lot
Thanks bro for helped
Yeh, the last time I played goalie, and I let in some balls that were right by me, and beating yourself up is not the answer especially for goalies. You gotta come in with the mentality of not letting in any goals, and it will really help your confidence and your performance.
Thank a lot
Thankyou sir
I think you deserve more subscribers
Thanks this video helped me so much because playing midfield isn't easy.........
Thanks
Love from Malaysia!
I currently play RW for tsf academy I recently start some games and have been doing horrible I recently moved to United States from Costa Rica and I’ve been slacking a lot I get nervous messing up and my team calling me out for it thank you very much for ur video
Especially on the part about looking around you
Yessss hes back!🤯⚽️
Great video !! Fellow soccer players, train on your weaknesses in practice and before the game. Trust in your abilities, you make a mistake, move on it happens to everyone.
Even if your nervous you can still play great! Just trust your abilities and if you have been practicing you should be sharp and more confident

How did it go?
Did you improve significantly?
@@uncleiroh3451 yes I did, I felt way more confident and relaxed.
@@davidjg4699 how did you play on the pitch compared to usual? I.e. May I know the significant changes (e.g. More goals? You didn't dribble before and now you dribbled 5 players at once? Etc)?
How do you get that jersey?
where you get that Kedah jersey ?
How can we escape from shyness and fear
Fax
My greatest problem is receiving the ball, naturally I’m fast and good at dribbles and passes, but it’s that awareness that kills my game
Wow you Football jersey my fav team
5:03 FK Sarajevo club in Bosnia 💪
Hi I like to play in midfielder but once teamates passes ball to me I'm getting to much nervous and while carrying ball forward towards goal I'm getting tackle give suggestion so that I can work on it alone
Answer is easy. Train on your own so you’re comfortable on your weaknesses and with the ball at your feet and PLAY MORE GAMES
when you are stress, you will always be nevous. Stress brings down your strength and self confidence which affects your entire game
I’m here before I become a Sunday League Player!
do you winter in SE asia?
How to play quick, bcoz I think I'm note quick even in 2 touch in two side play 🤔
KEDAH!
Yo is that jay from unisport in one of the clips
That was a straight red in the first clip
The problem is that in the winter it always snows and is not safe to be outside where I live. I have to wait till the summer or spring to be able to practice outside by myself and not with my team. I try to stay ahead of the game but it is really hard, especially since I am a kid
You should just focus on watching games and analyzing what players in your position do
Get a soft and small ball to play indoors
Watch a lot of games on tv and learn about the game. You can still work on your fitness indoors. Good luck and have fun
I am like kinda good at football but today I went for 1st time in a football training camp in my school I was so nervous and did so many stupid stuffs what can I do
I'm a centerback and I always be nervous when I receive the ball in the back and the attacker is coming for the ball and when I try to make a simple pass I lose the ball
Do you have any tips on someone who kicks the grass trying to kick the ball?
Before you kick look down at the ball and make sure you have good contact then look up at where you want to play it
@@Sjthatguy thanks fam
I am curios. What is your personal goal in football? And where have you been?
My prosonal goal is to become a professional footballer im now playing in a amateur team I don’t think i wil become a professional footballer and you💔😔😭
@@sm_abdelrahh5250 lol
Honestly bro, The way i am is that my teammates just ruin it for me I fumble because one guy told me to just quit the sport and it really did ruined my confidence. The way I play Is I'm a dribbler and I am really good at dribbling I know lots of skill moves and everything with my friends but when I'm in a match I fumble.
Is this Kedah's jersey?
is there a way you can a semi-amateur footballer become a pro?
man you look like superman😇
What about defender
Woww. KEDAH ! #jersey

@@nikfakhriy4657 mantopp. Hahaha tp smlm kalah dgn JDT@ sumbangsih.. aduduu
Its easier said than done
Just tired of losing my temper on the opponent even team mates .. I always have a lot of regrets when I start cussing others and starting stupid fights and end up needing to apologize to others days after .. I’m usually a super nice guy but matches for whatever reason bring out the devil in me - if anyone has any tips on how to have more restrain let me know .. I am not intense when it comes to work etc but driving and playing man I am quick to embarrass myself.. and yes your right if someone says something mean to me it’s an immediate trigger
Bro wear KEDAH jersey damn !!
;)
👍🏻
What I’m scared about is when I’m making the run and get the ball, when like 2-3 defenders are behind me and it’s up to me to score, I get nervous and just kick the ball and I end up missing
In practice use that scenario with your teammates and do it over and over again until you find solutions and get comfortable being in that situation. Nobody is expected to score all the time even on breakaways so don’t put that pressure on yourself
@@tkats9673 I will thx
