I have met her and she is as beautiful, kind, and gracious as you would hope she would be. She was so nice to everyone who worked with her on the Adams Family. (One of my cousins worked with her and said she was absolutely wonderful to the crew.)

As an “industry” professional (who has crossed paths with Brooke Sheilds on two different projects) I have never seen or heard a peep about her ever being anything but warm, gracious and professional to everyone she meets and interacts with. That’s hard for anyone to do, let alone a famous celebrity in the film industry.

I'm Brooke's age. The Calvin Klein commercial was not shown that often. Whenever I saw it, I'd get excited! Lol She's a pretty good actress. Too bad she had not done a lot of work on TV. I noticed one of her daughters is beginning to resemble her....which is a good thing!

B.S. has always been able to attract benefits and further her career by using her charm and sensuality and later by using her social prominence. It may seem unfortunate that she has been cast in roles that tend to be lacking in taste, depth and refinement but that is not entirely surprising as she projects the image and allure so often associated with such characters.
Ironically, Shields may have been thwarted in her ascension towards what she may perceive as ‘of value’ exactly by her immediately apparent advantages.
Paulina Porizkova is going through this same crisis. The reason those beyond 40 are cheated has a lot to do with "special effects." We see this thrown in our faces with the never-ending remakes of movies. The special effects of the remake is an analogue to youth and the beauty that comes with that youth. The old movie was perfectly fine but investors want to exploit everything and will not back original movies without a stock market kind of history. Spiderman 10 has a financial history. A young blonde singer that is "manufactured" can be replaced one day by the special effects of a younger blonde singer since the machine to manufacture a star is still intact.
Madonna was just the Marilyn Monroe sequel. Lady Gaga is Marilyn Monroe III. Billie Eilish is probably Lady Gaga's advanced notice that the human sequel of her has arrived. Eventually Gaga will no longer show up at the award ceremonies to cringe in her seat as her re-makes win the awards. Eventually, she'll be on the red carpet and experience some attentions but the sound of a bigger star behind her will haunt her has-been back and want to get off the carpet fast. She'll turn around and there's the special effects of youth pulling away all her photographers. Justine Bateman described this in her book about fame.
Original movies had their heyday in the 70s. They won't take a risk on original movies now. This is why we have to deal with never-ending remakes. I don't go to the movies anymore because of it. They stopped "developing" musical acts in the late 80s. They now want it all pre-packaged which means manufactured. If manufactured, then disposable.
The solution to this crisis of ageism is to sever the greedy hands of the financiers that put money before art and before people. Re-makes must be banned. Now we have this woke machine that is nationalized at the helm. You won't be able to break through without "woke" special effects. If you are aging, then you will be forced to go woke or your label will drop you or will not be offered big roles. The special effects of woke culture is really a wolf in sheep's clothing. America is getting cancelled. To stop communism, the age-discrimination must be stopped. All the radio stations must be broken up and de-nationalized. New local artists and older artists must be given their chance as a form of protest against communism. Brooke must fight communism and so should Paulina. The current manufactured stars are future communist idols. They will all come to an end since communism will take it all away.

One of the greatest child/teen stars of the 1980s should not be reduced to a trashy, violent Adult Swim series too violent for half of its target audience to handle.
