Heat fans convincing themselves that they were better than Boston all year even tho going through multiple identity crisis’ and constantly mentioning blowing up the team to rebuild or trade for another star is so laughable. Boston is content with its core and isn’t looking to make any improvements which shows who really is the better team.
They overperformed recent years so the fan base is high on its own supply.
Boston just made trades this past offseason do u hear yourself Boston was not content with its core because if that was true they would’ve kept grant and Marcus the heat was a great team over the last 4 years teams just has gotten better with trades and trust as a heat fan we was not saying we were better then Boston this year
@@Blazenetwork1990 … that’s my point. Our owner was not content hence why we traded Smart Brogdon Williams & Grant. Going forward they are which is why we have already extended all our guys including Jrue about 2 weeks ago. KP extended 2 years after being traded to us. Pritchard extended last summer to 4 years. Al Horford extended last offseason prior to this one & the only person left is Derrick White this coming summer. We are content. Heat are not which is why they will be scrambling for more pieces after they are eliminated.

Yeah I was thinking the same. 6 or 5 with butler-6 max… but this heat offense with Tyler Herro being completely played off the floor and bam sometimes going off at mid range, it’s just not gone be enough to make it a series😅.
Jaquez is probably their best offensive player right now, bam maybe, but the way jaquez gets to the rim and gets all those easy ones in transition, he’s the only guy the Cs didn’t easily slow down. I really wish he was either on the Celtics or at least not the heat-he’s gonna be an allstar in a few years.
Ocho trying so hard to have hope..😭 yes Spo is a genius but what adjustment can they even make with this current roster, or even if they get rozier back… they tried zone and got torched, they tried man and got torched, they tried heavy switching, they threw so many different defensive schemes and the result was the same. Miami did a good job shutting down the interior in the last 3 quarters but daring Boston to shoot is not a recipe for success and they could’ve easily gotten downhill more if they ever got cold from 3. This wasn’t even close to Boston’s ceiling.
Imo their only option is to try to somehow out-math the Celtics and chuck as high a 3pt volume as possible and hope a few rolepayers randomly get super hot out of nowhere like last year. They gotta rebound better cause that was a mess.

Celtics does a good job of allowing players to play to their strengths! Holiday just playing freestyle defense roaming and just knocking down 3s, KP posting smaller players and hitting deep 3s. They’ll never make you do things you’re not good at. Celtics coaches turned Kornet into a legit big man, people used to laugh when he got on the court. Now if Celtics waive Kornet, he will get picked up in a matter of minutes lol. He does his job and a lot better than a lot of back up centers!
@cvgodd1432 The fact that the Celtics turned a Bulls 3rd string center on the cusp of being cut into a legit back up on a title contending team and into a legitimate trade asset might be one of the biggest miracles the Celtics have worked this far.
^^^ Idk if I would call Kornet a trade asset, he's surrounded by so much talent that is easy for him to get a few allley oop dunks and rebounds, but other tabs know that if they brought him in he would be much closer to what he was on the bulls than what he is on the Celtics. Even the Celtics still don't use him when the other team has a legit big man, only when he's gonna be the tallest guy in the court so they use him.

His third triple double (barely) of his career playing on a super team. He puts up some points but not much on assists or rebounds. He let's his super team do the heavy lifting so he can just shoot

The Heat here fatigued. Those two play in games took their toll. The celtics have been resting for over a week. Also, the Heat is a poor shooting team. They need to improve their shooting on all their players. Boston has played well all year they have been consistently great all season, so hats off to them.

It's not as dumb as you think. Their main game is hunt for miss-matches to exploit. They shoot a lot of 3's, but they shot 45% in Game 1, which means they practice those shots, so it's not lazy per se. Their late-game execution when things get tight is going to tell us if they can win a chip.
