Man that was.... really disappointing. I mean not only was he decapitated in the manga (which honestly is fine with what they needed to do for censorship purposes) but when he got the ground he made an offscreen *thud.* Like he just went *clunk* and that was it. Personally it would've been cool if instead of just a *bonk* that he should have hit the ground do hard it made large cracks or a crater.
They've dealt with things in a reasonable level of violence in other episodes. I guess they just ran out of budget on this particular episode and wanted to get rid of him as easily as possible. At least we got to see something like this scene as intended when Dragon Ball ripped it off for Goku's fight with Frieza.
