Yes exactly, even as a bad guy, playing the Planets champion, everything he said was 💯 true, it probably helps that he’s well read, doesn’t watch much 📺, I’d say he might even be as smart a person as Kane, and we all know how smart he is, Bryan even said it himself, also his old Bella Brains segments on Brie and Nikki’s CZcams was always good:))!!
The fact Danielson had to retire back in 2016 and is still at it is incredible. He's a once in a lifetime wrestler and I feel grateful for every time we get to see him work.
Bryan is just so good. That promo was gold, surprising and making sense in the same time. Really good way to put them out of the title picture for a time while building them up even more
And love that there was no "creative" room of writers behind it. Just passion from a future hall of farmer shooting like a son of a bitch

They are pretty good friends. Danielson said Moxley was a huge part of him signing with AEW, he said that, he saw a lot of great talent in AEW he'd love to work with, but that he wasn't sure he could hang, and Mox told him that he's Bryan fucking Danielson, the greatest of all time, not only would he hang, he could teach them a lot.

Honestly, I think they should join forces. That would be a badass faction to start with, and you can always break them up later for the eventual fight.
I’d have Bryan and Jon each recruit 1 young promising talent, Jon recruiting a babyface while Bryan recruits a heel. They would mentor each respective guy, yet would clash with the other’s student. That would lead to each recruit having tension with one another and the opposing mentor, yet keep them fairly strong so they can make progress in the title chases. And just let the tension play out from there.
This could potentially be a really fun angle done right.

Lee is seriously one of the best wrestlers in the company. He'll make a great TNT champion some day
Really digging this idea, PRAYING Mox accepts and this gets put together. Mox vs Danielson would be an amazing feud, but having an awesome stable before then to not only give younger talent some support, but also appeal to fans who don't really like high flying acrobatic spots, would be insanely cool long term booking in a massive angle. Next Wednesday can't come soon enough.
Them starting their own Cobra Kai style mentorship or group with some of those talent would be sick. Really was always into the idea of Daniel Garcia and Lee Moriarity being around Bryan also Wheeler Yuta too could be interesting. Doubt Mox does it but if he does cool could also see Bryan doing this alone or could find another vet to act as a “mentor” with him to turn these guys into beasts if Moxley turns it down.

This is the same proposition angle that Jericho offered Mox to join the Inner Circle. Now, Byran Danielson is offering a unified allegiance to form a faction and gather all the belts in AEW. I hope Mox accepts Danielson's offer but the facial expression and mood of Mox is possibly betrayal.
They both want to betray each other but in the long run they can make some real history together
@@jonathanoscategui2678 I prefer a created faction allegiance before fued but the incentive is the mentoring that Danielson mentioned and offered to Mox. For example, Wheeler Yota or a Daniel Garcia but I prefer Mox and Danielson to mentor Hook. Moxley, Danielson, and Hook faction pairing would be unstoppable in AEW.

I LOVE this idea. Bryan and Mox mentoring young guys, absolutely brilliant. Best of both worlds, learning from one of the best brawlers in the world, and one of the best technical wrestlers in the world, at the same time. Dude would be unstoppable when they were done with him.

@@RonFleener I am a little unsure about adding people to this group so early in their run. Nothing against Yuta but he adds nothing at this point. If they pick up anyone as fitting that English Rough and Tumble theme then my picks would be Pac since he is kind of in storyline limbo currently, or if they wanted a young "pupil" addition then Tony Nese seems to be the better choice to Yuta.
I think they're gonna go for all the belts AEW has to offer, and by God it will be magnificent.

Honestly, Bryan is spitting facts. If they form a tag team/stable of their own and take in young, mid-card talent like yuta, they can really take AEW by storm and maybe even hold both World and TNT titles at the same time. Unfortunately, we all know Mox is going to reject, but it will lead to one HELL of a match(maybe even a potential match of the year contender).
The big swerve will be Mox accepting and if he does, everyone's minds will be blown!
Mox puts on hardcore matches. In terms of standard wrestling matches, he's not all that.

What I like most about this is, Jericho tried this same stunt with Mox and it failed. The Reason it failed is Mox could see through the insincerity of the Inner Circle. Bryan is just bringing up reasonable ideas and thoughts while not pressuring Mox to really do anything this very moment. Bryan isn't presenting a Me situation but a WE situation.
This is why I love AEW, they acknowledge the past story and fans can look back and connect the dot.
It's obvious it'll end with a double cross from Danielson

I’m liking how AEW seem to have intentionally left the door open on what Mox could do here. He didn’t accept… but neither did he decline. I’m guessing they wanted to see the response to the idea and by the sounds of it, we could get the Moxly Danielson Deadly Alliance

The most important part of this is two very talented wrestlers, giving the rub to younger wrestlers that are right there, and ready to evolve. Jericho and Sammy. Sting and Darby. Christian and Jungle Boy.

This was exactly what I wanted to hear from Danielson. He was making so much sense and the names he was dropping are all talent I’ve been dying to see get proper opportunities and be utilised as the amazing wrestlers they are instead of just enhancement jobbers. Whether or not Moxley is onboard doesn’t matter, because Danielson has been wanting to do this for ages and would be excellent at it.
Danielson should also look at the women's roster to recruit some badass technical wrestlers. Leyla Hirsch, Serena Deeb, or Marina Shafir would be a great addition.

I love Hangman, but gotta agree with Danielson here. Mox's championship run has been the best. Hangman's road to winning has been the best, but his current reign now hasn't topped Mox yet.
To be fair, he's been champion for all of about 5 minutes, with basically no established heel challengers.
I think this storyline might set up the original heel turn they were setting up before Moxley went to rehab to have Moxley be a challenger for Hangman, with this dumb feud with Lance Archer serving to fill time until that happens.
Hangman hasn't been around much, which is a bit disappointing. Glad he's got a match next week. gonna be a good one.

In one promo, I am absolutely interested in this story now. Do Moxley and Danielson fight? Do they become a team, and this is how Moxley goes heel? I have no idea, but I sure as hell wanna know what happens next week.

They can go after the tag team championships and Moxley can get the TNT championship. But Bryan's end goal is to get the AEW world championship from Hangman page by any means necessary

Getting Jon Moxley to embrace his heel side him and Bryan will no doubt take the AEW tag team championships with authority. Moxley would be the toughest opponent Sammy has ever had to face and takes Moxley to his limit only for Bryan to help Moxley steal the title away from Sammy. And eventually Moxley helps Bryan steal the AEW world championship from Page and they hold all the gold!!! And when they lose the gold and turn on each other we will get a five star match between two Legends!!! 😎

These are the type of segments where Bryan is at his best.
Danielson is such a great heel, absolutely great segment
The conventional decision would be to have Moxley refuse the offer. BUT him forming a partnership with Danielson does open a lot of storyline avenue. I kinda want him to take the deal.
I LOVE this idea. It was unpredictable. It's true as hell that they could "train" a bunch of great wrestlers. They can always fight later...but this is something unique to them and they are two completely different styles. You put them together with these other talents and brand them as violent, technical wrestlers? Sign me all the way up.
That little group of wrestlers he mentioned has legit potential. I love it.
Honestly id love to see them team up and the fans would also, like it’s probably a thing to start their build up but actually its such a good idea making them team up
i need those two to create a stable and dominate AEW, both AEW, TNT and Tag Team Champions all at once. Best matches, best heels, best feuds to elevate the promotion to new highs
I come back to this promo knowing they are close to making the faction complete with yuta, garcia, and moriarity
love the subtlety of Mox staring into the camera and seemingly asking the audience at home 'what do you think?'
I want this to happen more than I've ever wanted anything. Of course, they could take the predictable route and have them fight (which is fine), but the thought of these two mentoring 3 young guys in a faction sounds beyond amazing.
This is also great because it plays into the whole “old” vs “new” wrestling conflict we see. Having half the company believe it should be one thing and the other half believing it should be another. All the best stories are told when ideas are challenged, so this should be a good angle to start.
Quite frankly, the things that Danielson talked about, most of it, the mentoring with young talents are already happening backstage. AEW has a very bright future
This gotta be one my favorite AEW promos of all time, 2 man power trip incoming while building the future, it's gonna be epic if Bryan's vision becomes a reality.
For reals!!!! The long term storylines the dominate quest for all the gold!!!!! Training the future of AEW and leaving it in great hands when they are done!! And having an epic blow-off feud!!!!! This could pay off over a year !
A faction consisting of these two would be epic. They would all come out and raise hell and leave. Add Eddie Kingston to this mix and you would have the perfect faction of badass wrestlers.

This has me really interested. The best part is that whether they end up allies or enemies, the resulting story kicks ass either way. These dudes working together is awesome.
