Fantastic, I have the older Depp version, the red band still looks like it needs to be closer to the shoulder
the patch on the forearm is for when you have your double barrelled shotgun open and resting . cheerio
edit: The original also had a pocket on the inside of the jacket in the lower back, also known as "the poacher's pocket" used to keep small game or ammunition
Do you think this could be waxed to aid water resistance and durability? Generally speaking - do you consider the jacket to be durable or is it intended as more of a cosplay/fashion piece? Thank you and big props for doing the research!
Love this jacket! I had no idea Hunter S. Thompson had a slightly different one to Depp's in the film. If you guys are going to do more, I'd love to see the Deckard Trenchcoat from Blade Runner.
We already make Deckard's Coat... maybe we'll do a video on it at some point.
