    I've just got a pair of these and the sound is fantastic, but the volume control is a struggle. I followed the instructions in the booklet and on the video but the volume doesn't change. It's very frustrating.

    Hi B&O... Which is better between H9i and beoplay e8 2.0 ?? I need good noise isolation... And is wire headphone better than wireless earbuds?.. Hmmm i'm confused about that🤔... Anyway i love design both of them 😊

    • @bangolufsen
      @bangolufsen  Před 5 lety +2

      Hi Umar,
      This will come down to personal preference. It is really difficult to compare the two as their designs are completely different. H9i has ANC capabilities and can also be used wired which, in general, can provide a better sound quality. This may be a better option for you.
      If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact us anytime at bogo.custhelp.com/app/ask.

      I have used the H9i's for about 6 months after upgrading from the h6's and have just purchased the h8 3rd gen. The h8 are incredible with the comply foam buds but for me I'd plug my H9i straight into my receiver for home listening. The initial setup on the h8 can be a pain but once they are updated and setup they are worth the wait. A wired connection is always better but take the time to correctly setup your h8's and you should have no issues

      @thiago.fonseca Před rokem

      Well, has been 3y from you comment, you probably picked one. I will leave my experience anyways... I have these 2 and for me, H9i is the best. E8 keeps pulling out of my ears, the foam buds keeps tearing and I didn't figure out if this happens in my ear or in the charge case. E8 sounds amazing, but the isolation is better with H9i, too. In the end of the day, E8 is an amazing option, and I agree with the official profile comment, its a personal preference... These are mine. I'm curious about your choice and how satisfied are you with.

    So I've been using this for a while on my phone, after struggling to get it to connect to the phone. Now I tried to connect it to another device, but when I stop holding the button on the BT position it immediately exit the pairing mode. The headphone also don't power down like 1/5 of the time when I tell it to and have to do it again to actual power down. The proximity sensor just don't work like it's supposed to, and yes I've read up on how you're supposed to use it. Also sometimes the headphone turn on and off ambient mode etc without my hands or anything else being remotely near the touch panel. To summarize this headphone sounds good, but it's the most expensive and buggy garbage I've ever used.

    • @bangolufsen
      @bangolufsen  Před 4 lety +2

      Hi Zayin,
      Normally, your headphones should not connect with other devices unless they are put in pairing mode and paired at least once with said device.
      If you have any issue with this, we strongly recommend resetting the H9i to factory setting by holding the switch in the top position until it flashes red.
      All previous connections will be deleted, and you can then safely re-pair your headphones with your phone.

    The feature with laying down headphones stops music is a problem laying down

    • @bangolufsen
      @bangolufsen  Před 2 lety

      Hi there,
      We are sorry to hear that the proximity sensor is not working as it should, and would be happy to assist.
      We would recommend the following:
      You can remove the headphones, turn them off, and turn on again. Wait 2 seconds and put on the headphones and check whether they work properly now to automatically pause and play music.
      Alternatively, restore to factory settings or remove the battery shortly.
      Please wait for the LED to go out, after turning the headset on and before putting them on. Doing this is essential and should resolve the issues. Turning the headphones on after setting them on the head can prevent a good calibration of the proximity sensors and cause issues of conflicting pause/play commands to the headphones, thus causing bugs at the slightest movement of the head or when trying to operate the touch plate.
      The proximity feature is capacitive and may periodically have difficulties measuring if mounted on your head; e.g. weather conditions and humidity may influence this functionality.
      Alternatively Turning the proximity sensor on or off:
      The proximity feature can be turned permanently off (or on) by setting the H9i into Bluetooth mode and tapping twice on right ear cup (toggle mode LED = red is off and green = on).
      Should this not resolve your issue please reach out to us with further details via www.bang-olufsen.com/en/support/contact, so that we may look into this for you further.
      Kind regards,
      Bang & Olufsen Customer Care
