So I like to travel virtually on Google Maps on computer. This is my all time fave city in Pennsylvania. Last time I drove 95 I cried because I was leaving it. I love Philly alot
Excellent coverage again! The I-95 saga pertaining to Philadelphia has been a fascinating one for years with I-95 vanishing into thin air for so long until that new connection was built a few years ago.
Yeah it was pretty wild that such a major interstate had that hole in it for so long. Coming northbound through Baltimore, Philadelphia isn't even listed as a control city.
Good video. Glad you've highlighted Washington DC crossing the Wilson Bridge. Entering PG county MD, you could have highlighted Oxen Hill, Camp Springs, Forestville, Largo, Landover, and Lanham, but you've started at Greenbelt. Other than that, I've enjoyed that familiar route 😊
@@MileageMikeTravelsNot only that, when I-95 is open (despite the reconstruction in Wilmington), trucks are NOT allowed thru Wilmington via I-95 North because of safety concerns due to the fact a few months prior, there was an accident involving an 18-wheeler at the Construction Site in Wilmington, so DelDOT has banned trucks from using I-95 thru Wilmington until the project is completed.
@@MileageMikeTravelsKind of. You can take the northern section of 695 through the Towson and Ellicott City area to bypass the tunnels. But the southern section of 695 fell into the river recently.

So this wasn't a full I-95 trip from Philadelphia to Washington D.C. since I-95 was blocked off at 31:05 and got back onto it at 41:03.

Yeah you can take 695 Outer around Baltimore instead of using I-95.
