Mcgregor is clever and funny. But Cruz is 100% logic. That's way harder than what Mcgregor does IMO, both great talkers though.
+55jacos I strongly disagree, indeed Cruz is pure logic. It is impressive, yes, but logic is something everyone can do. It requires low creativity, it's more of an impressive feat in terms of dedication to deductive reasoning, a feat of perseverance and rigorousness but no more.
On the other hand what Conor does requires loads of creativity. There actually is logic to what he says but on top of it there is an x factor added to what he says, originality in his thought and quick wittiness.
It's a kind of mix of both logic and an artistic touch. For instance, he could attract a big public just as a rapper or something of the sort, that's a big intelligence in its own right. But on top of that he also has very strong analytic skills, when he gets serious you can see hints of it, he can be just as calculated as Cruz and the next moment switch to his creative side. That's why I think what he does is much more impressive than Cruz.
It's easy to say: "All you have to do is pop smth funny once in a while" but to actually pull it off not that easy. To keep coming up with original thoughts that will burst people laughing and with unexpected stuff even under pressure situations is just something else, even if I know haters will never acknowledge that. It's actually hard to see what he really does precisely because it's hard to replicate. All Cruz said I could have thought by myself, but every once in a while Conor comes up with smth that would have never come to my mind, that's why it's stimulating to watch him.
Somethign everyoen can do? If that were true, everyone would be a Wittgenstein, Goedel, or Hilbert.

i feel this on another level. Im pretty good at talking and analyizing situations so i see myself as a Cruz in that aspect. The thing is my brother who's my twin is sort of into this whole not talking thing and is heading in a Dillashaw direction which doesn't benefit self-belief self-confidence and the whole visualisation from description, minds eye, seeing is believing mentality/ outlook on life. Im of the beleif that talking and analyizng are like a muscle you have to practice/workout to get good. Its part of the battle/game. I hope from now on this moment forward my twin brother makes it a point to focus practice and keep sharp his mental talking, explanation and analyzation skills. That way as a group we win more often, as well as are able to push each other farther in life and better each other tremendously, while we still live in the same household and beyond. I wish for the same level of personal growth, accurate analysis and genuine truth from my older brother who really needs to accept reality to grow, better himself, and move forward.
