Everyone is commenting like the only time you need these skills is if you are "lost in the woods". What about after a hurricane destroys your city, and you have no electricity, no clean water? What about when a snow storm leaves you without heat in negative temperatures for a week? Both of these things have happened to me. It's worthwhile keeping some of this in mind when disaster strikes at home.

The 2 person roping is the under-through-over knot of boater on a single bollard. Both are able to get loose within taking off both, and putting the other person's roping back on the bollard.

1 last tip:if you're burned soak your hand in warm water to release the heat under your skin.If you soak it in cold water,the cold water will trap the heat and could make it longer to heal or whatever.

You don't get "bitten" by bees and wasps, you get STUNG by them.
For everyone talking about how the filters don't filter bacteria, it's still best to drink the water in a situation where you can't properly filter it. Most diseases caused by unfiltered water, only take effect after a few days, or weeks, which is plenty of time for a search and rescue squad to find you.

Please don't try C.P.R if you're not trained you can really injure the person in need of medical help call for your emergency services preforming chest compressions can break a rib. If you want to learn C.P.R learn it by someone who knows it and be it person when learning. If you don't know it and try it you can definitely cause more harm than good.
I'm not trying to be a smart *ss but I don't want people trying this thinking they're the hero and actually injuring the person. Think before you act. Thank you for time.
