I heard this version first, and loved it. Then I found the original version from Queen. My first reaction listening to Queen's was: "God it was slow". But gradually I love listening to both
Slow(ish) for a reason as it was made to be a song that everyone would universally recognise (used in sports events etc) and it works. But there’s also a rare ‘fast version’ that Queen recorded.

I was a fan of Queen before Five but when I saw this video I was probably around 15 and boy what a nostalgia. I remember how excited I was with this collaboration. I was listening to it nonstop. I don’t recall Queen doing this with anyone at the time so for me it was such a big thing since Queen was my first fave Rock group and Five was my fave pop group. Oh my it was such an experience for me. By the way this is the song where Richie completely shocked me I don’t know where this voice came from that rasp haha because he was always so sweet and here is such a rock star, hands down my fave Five song because of all of the above ❤️

Say what you want, this is a decent cover. The rap is a bit much, but it's at least unique. I believe a cover is supposed to pay tribute to the original song, not compete with it. You can just feel their love for Queen in this cover.
