Clementine and Salem really seem to love the sun, I loved their little chirps hahaha :)) Thanks for a beautiful vlog, you're an inspiration!!
Make the felt guys into hair clips!!! Putting them in your two tone hair would look soooo cute!!!! :) This video was sososo cute and relaxing~ A great way to start my day :)
Congrats on the move! Your apartment looks much bigger! And I am obsessed with all of your furniture and the whole vibe of your place! 👏👏👏 also your felt needling is so cuteeeee!! I love having the little kitty with a body!! Obsessed. Also there’s a short 30min movie on Netflix called “robin robin” which is all animated and done with felt needling!
ah tysm 💖 and oooo thank u so much for the rec!! i love needle felt stop motion 🥺
YES NEEDLE FELTING VIDEO!!!!! 💕 you could totally make earrings, garlands and little decor. I can see the two kittys hanging together with green ribbon or beads like two little cherries hehe 🍒
Another idea for the felt needling doodads; you could also put them on plaques kinda like taxidermy but not as creepy. I just think it would look so Wes Anderson and too cute in a studio!
A mobile out of your felted pieces would look great! Love the new apartment
polyurathane/sparurathane/polyacrylic are all good choices that come in paint on and spray. and then there's also liqueurs thats used for furniture and hand railing thats fast drying. faster than polys anyway. shellac comes in sprays and paint on and sometimes is tinted colors like amber. and rustoleum has spray enamel too.
I work in the paint department at home depot😅
for any other artists too these should all be paint and stain safe but there's always somethings that aren't compatible.❤
I'm glad your move when well! And your felt items came out so cute! I think you should make little daggers for your store, that would be so cute! Also, seeing you enjoy the direct sunlight brought me so much joy! 🌞
I love Clementine in the background freaking out while you’re doing a blog segment about your needle felting creations! So adorable 🥰
yes i watched it till the end, loved every bit of it, especially your baby dolls earings. love them sooooo much.
Ahhh! Congrats on the new space! I’m sure you and the kitties appreciate and love it so much more. Also, the felt kitties?! Super cute! But I just wanted to say that I really appreciate all the talking bits and how long this video turned out. There’s just something about listening to people talk about the things they’re passionate about that hits different.
Yesss! We love hearing people be passionate about their passions. It’s so interesting just to listen and learn from everything she says! 🧡
Mod Podge dishwasher safe gloss has worked great for me. it dries pretty quickly and hard not tacky.
I always love your videos! You inspire me to create. I’m not a professional artist although I have had quite a bit of art training. But your videos remind me how much I get from doing art. ❤️
Thank you for these juicy vlogs 💖 they keep me company while I work 🥰 also soooo happy for you and your new space and all that natural light 🤤
idea for the felt needling for your shop: keychains!!! I think it would be a cute item to your shop and they’re the perfect size to go on your keys, on a bag, or even for ppl who like to collect keychains. Just an idea to think about! :))
THE THUMBNAIL IS SO CUTE OMG
THE FELTED SALEM AND CLEMMY
Congrats on your new spot, and your needle felting is stunning!! I would love to hear more about you how you organize your time and your work days :)
Lovely, calming vlog. Yay for direct sunlight!
so excited for you paloma!! congrats on the new space :))
Liqutex makes great varnishes, both clear and matte. If you are concerned about the smudging as you brush on, use one coat of spray then coat your piece with the varnish. That stuff is GOLD.
I’ve never had good experiences with Modge Podge outside of paper crafts. Even then, it’s few and far between.
so happy for u paloma!! a new environment with direct sunlight will def do u so good :,)
I use 2 layers of gloss Polycrylic for protecting my clay things as well as canvas paintings! It gives the best finish without feeling sticky or textured, if you use paint pens though I do recommend using a spray finish first then do the polycrylic layers to prevent potential smudging :)
This vlog made me so happy!! ❤️
Lol "no it's because you're holding fish.." I love cats😸
so happy for ur new apartment !! *crying in north facing apartment*
grats on your smooth move! i too am going thru it and struggling hehe i love ur totes!
Car kitty dice!! 🐈⬛🐈✨
YOUE ORANGE JUMPSUIT!!! omg i need
You could use an electric nail file for resin lumps. You can use it to file it flat. Then just a layer of resin over it again. It always works with my projects.😊
the needle felt babies would be so so adorable as earrings!
for bigger resin pieces do them at night
thats what i do when i use resin i wait until its dark
This was so calming to watch i'm working towards starting up an etsy business and i was wondering where you got that amazing shelf with all the little drawers in it? It looks so amazing and organised!
Congrats on the new place and alll of the sunshine! I hate when my windows don’t get direct sunlight, I need it!! so I totally understand the happiness that comes from having direct sunlight again…! 🌞🌝
Ps- I used polyurethane for sealing clay pieces and while the finish is nice to start, after a couple of years it goes extremely yellow and sticky… not really great for lasting durability. But I was using it on polymer clay so it might different for the kind of clay your working with?
Rust-Oleum Spray Paint, Gloss Clear is great for everying i use this on my canvas's, my clay pieces everythingggggg its gorgeous and uv protecting. that or use polyurethane clear gloss you use for boats lol itss all good af
Also I’m glad you’re okay 🤗
The needle felt cats are ADORABLE 🥰 🐱 🐈⬛
i would suggest krylon's triple thick polyurethane spray glaze (i also like minwax, & mod podge has a spray, but i haven't used it); i use it when i need to stabilize and seal crunchy patinas on metalwork (i also use it to seal pastel paintings once i don't need the layers to be moveable anymore)
it's also very shiny (there is a matte finish spray and other finishes of sealers)
i'm sure that you already know this, but if you do use it, make sure that you're in a very well ventilated area & wear a respirator, and if you're doing it inside (and i'm assuming you don't have a fume hood because how many people have a fume hood at home) spray it in a cardboard box to keep the spray from adhering to other surfaces
Your new place is so beautiful! Cats corner in the window looks really cool to them. I would love it if it were me haha
So excited for you and your new space! I was wondering where your tote bags are from?
I had issues years ago with Sticker mule. I got bad quality stickers and I sent them a message they went ahead and said they would reprint. the second batch was the same.
Also they have some other issues >>;;; but yea I've sadly had a bad time with them. I hope it works out for you on the magnets.
The strawberry censors are everything
The sunlight hitting your back wall ^^
def do the spray then varnish, idk if acrylic gouache reactivates but if so that may be why. lots of varnishes can be water based so it just reactivates whatever u painted on there. the protective layer really helps it not smear for me
ok im farther along on the video and yes that poly stuff is what i use and if u get the water based u will need a protective spray between the piece and the varnish
Either Salem/Clementine hanging ornaments, or put them on a lil stick and make them plant pot decor to stick in the soil 😍😍😍
those felty buddies are so so sooo friend shaped!!! I rly love decorating my space with just little trinkets. so selling them as is would be super duper dope!!! ^-^ also... heck'n earrings!! great work yo, so dang cute!
for the felt needle stuff you could make garland or possibly earrings??
3 things. First of all, I love your videos and your cats are adorable. Second, highly recommend being careful with resin. It isn't safe to use in an enclosed space without the proper ventilation and equipment. Third, look into CrystaLac. It is a water-based finish, so it is completely safe to use in doors, especially around your cats.
Congratulations!!!!!! Love you darling. I have been watching your videos for 2 years now❤️can we please have a apartment tour💚😁
Your needle felted kitties are so cute!!! I think they would be cute as bolo ties 👀👀
I believe that when a person is no longer comfortable in his apartment if he has the possibility to move then he must do it! It's okay to feel good in your own space, i'm happy for you, would you record the tour of the new studio ** ? Thank you so much for your videos, your vlogs make me happy weeks
you should make felt needle kitty garland for your shop ! i’d love to hang that creation in my house ☺️
Congratulations on your new place! May I ask what brand of large paper cutter that is and if you like it?
May I suggest printing long kitty on paper as well? I have more than enough bags but never too many prints! 🥰
Your eyelashes are UHmazing!!! 😍
You should make the lego bouquet! It reminds me of your style 😊
i would also like to learn felt needling!! My mothers birthday is coming up soon and i thought about making felt needle versions of ourselves. The cats turned out so good!! it definitely suits your style. Could you tell me where you bought the starter pack and the wool?? THANKS!! love ur videos bdw, they always inspire me to try out new things😊😊
it’s from kinokuniya!
Another wonderful vlog. Thank you!!
I have one question if you don't mind. Why du you call the frog pin "Yeehaw Frog" and on the card is written "Yeehaw Forg"? Just asking. Maybe I don't understand it because I am not a native English speaker.
Greetings from Germany,
Anni
Does the resin drip when you apply it to the sides of the trays? I know I get too much dripping sometimes when I use resin.
You should make like a q&a video I would love to ask you questions!
congrats on the move pal!!!! :-')
Do you mind sharing the link where you buy your tote bags💕.
Always go in for those symptoms. Mine ended up being a stroke
yep that’s why i went in!! the urgent care checked me out and said i was all good from what they could tell, seeing a specialist tomorrow :))
Have you tried poly acrylic?
I first wanna say I love ur work and I just started to watch you but one question where do you get your clay and what type do you use?
its polymer clay, you can get it at any craft store!
@@palomathepeach ty!
when you print on the tote bags do you seal the print with anything? or just air dry? because im thinking of printing on tote bags aswell with lino and lino ink/paint and im not sure if that would need to only air dry.
i bought the speedball fabric paint and on the bottle it just says to let it cure for a week!
@@palomathepeach ohhh alright thank u
I'm very afraid of getting ripped off, so I was wondering if you knew any places that will make keychains and enamel pins with my own designs.
I just started needle felting also, its very fun😄
i recommend looking through alibaba and making sure the manufacturer is verified! that’s how i got started
@@palomathepeach thank you so much🌼
Very lovely video! (But omg so many advertising in the middle…)
🤗🤗🤗🤗🌹🌹🤗🤗
it's 'needle felting'.
careful with stickermule - their ceo has made questionable donations in the past, including to the tr*mp campaign.
nooooo 😭
