    I've watched this video numerous times now. I'll be there with my family in August, 2021 with Jeep Jamboree USA. Your video gives me a real world look at what to expect. Nice job.

    the Rubicon is one of our favorite trails, we completed it our first time after only dating for 3 weeks! been back a couple times now and still loving it!

    Better than watching a movie on Netflix , it was like I was sitting in the drivers seat . Looks like a lot of fun thinking about getting a jeep and joining all of you . great job shooting the video enjoyed it very much .

    Mike, Great meeting you and Chris on the Rubicon this year. Awesome experience to say the least. I want to go back yesterday! LOL. Had to watch your video again to take in the experience.     Looks like an amazing time! Wish we were closer to trails like these. In CT we pretty much just have trails through the woods which lead to pinstripe city so not always fun 😂

    Man times have changed, I remember twice a year we would run the Rubicon with 4 other rigs 6 days taking our time front to back camping at the lakes every night running every trail out there and not a rig with over 35" tires. Fixed everything from broken axles to bending and welding parts back together on rigs through out the night and over a 6 day period you might see another group of vehicles out on the trails (might). Don't have much time to wheel these days but makes me want to go through the old 76 Cj7 and get it cleaned up and at least hit some local trails that are still open.

      it can still be like that. we have found ourselves alone on the Rubi a few times our last trip. we have started to shy away from the large group events, especially now that we have the two 2 door jeeps.

    Looks like you guys had a great time up here on the trail. We have never done the Jeepers Jamoree but we use to service the food for the Ruboton (Toyota run) for years. Are you going back this year?

    cool video. How big of lift do you have? I am going end of june begining of july and have 3.5 inch lift with 35 inch tires and bead locks front and rear lockers

      You will be more then fine. I’ve passed it with 35s and only one locker didnt struggle at all. It’s all about how you approach the obstacle

    Great video, thanks for sharing!!! You show parts of the trail I haven't seen on other videos. Odd that you lacked a little traction with the Milestars at 43:40. Lite Brite and others have pretty good luck with them. I don't recall if you stated your air pressure?

      Lite Brite is also sponsored by Milestar. The Patagonia is basically an aggressive all terrain. They will never preform as well as a true mud like a Cooper Stt Pro ect...

      Mike Heaivilin Lite Brite usually ran them at 8 psi (before they went to sticky’s)

      @@BullGearOffRoad jeeps are light,i run 10 in the s/duty..35,s.dick cepek,have a set of hurcules now.seem o.k,but mainly just for work..i have a set of 36x 15.5 x16,mtz.never needed them.

      I ran 37x12.5x17 Milestar Patagonia MT's at 11 PSI on the Rubicon this past weekend and had zero issues with traction. Performed flawlessly. Awesome tire!

    Never been to something like this; my son just bought a 2015 Willys 2 door and it’s all stock right now. I’d like to try this since he wants to build it into something like these rigs. Just wondered what kind of axles these guys have.......

      Mike Heaivilin thanks I think this Jeep has the 44 rear and the 30 front axle. It comes Stock with 3:73’s and a limited slip diff in the rear.

    Great video and nice rig. What rock crawler muffler, rock rails and fender flares are you running? Also, thanks for your honesty on the Patagonia's. I noticed the Cooper Discoverer STT Pro's on the rig in front of you gripping the granite and making quick work on several obstacles. I'll be there in 2020.

      Thanks! we'll be there again in 2020 as well. I'm running the Bushwacker fender flares, Magnaflow OffRoad Pro Series Cat-Back Exhaust and the rock rails are stock.. I just cut them in the rear to fit my 38 inch tires. you can checkout the rest of the build here: revkit.com/bullyjku

    @Mike Heaivilin Hire’s do you like the Jamboree compared to a normal fall weekend? Seems like a lot of LA freeway traffic for the comradery, spotting, and potential help.

      It is a lot of traffic for the Jamboree but it's worth it when you get to the camp site. Lots of cool people and the more the merrier.

    Ya man I don't know about having someone every 3ft "spotting" me with 838 guys behind me would kill any fun for us. We go to get away from everyone, not bring them all. But great job filming.

    may i ask where you got the no top brackets for the rhino rack? also who made the doors. just got back from the rubicon and need more storage for sure.

      I don’t know if Jeep jamboree allowed anything under 35 inch tires back then. Now it’s nothing under 37inch tires
