The fact that white beard fought everybody including 3 admirals and black beard including other strong marines on his own, proves that he can easily become the king of the pirates in his prime after roger died, but he just have no interest in it.
He could even with Roger alive.
He was just as strong as Roger and had a much bigger control in the world, plus a scary DF and Oden was part of his crew.

@@kirakira9906 No chance he wins. Marco, Jozu etc were much too young. Roger had Gaban, who fought Oden for days on straight. He had Rayleigh who was far superior to anyone else but the captains at that point. Stopping Marco with one finger.. Assuming Roger vs WB is a tie, the Roger pirates still win eventually.
