    I scanned my first Neonate Brain today. I was wondering for the mastoid view, is the notch facing towards the baby face or away from the baby face? Any help is appreciated. Please. Thank you. 🤗

    -Until which age we can still do cranial ultrasound in neonates in general?
    -at which frequency should we repeat this us if we find problems like hemorhage infarct pvl ect.. ?

    • @SonographicTendencies
      @SonographicTendencies  Před 2 lety

      Depends on the closure of the fontanelles/sutures. Usually the lates is 2 years though on some patients you can only do it up to 8months but limited views and penetration

    Do you usually use the small linear probe to take more images after finishing with the regular micro convex one as part of your protocol? Or If needed? Or never?
