Chance was second in points and had a chance to injure or dnf Deegan. I am amazed no one is even considering that as a motive. No vlogger or commentator has let those words leave their mouth when it's the elephant in the room. You are the first one who just came out and said that Chance is doing little things to gain an unfair advantage. I just don't get why that elephant is being ignored.
Chance wins 25 points. Deegan gets zero, which could've happened with that pipe. Now it's a 17 point difference between the two. That takeout was a total opportunity and Chance took it. That makes perfect sense.
Btw, as soon as it happened and they had the drone footage, Stewart automatically said that Chance leaned in on him. Then it was never said again.

Well thank you for some speculation of foul play. But, why play chicken when you have the wheel on Deegan? He could've just pulled the holeshot. But if Deegan had let up, he could've lost positions while Hymas could've just gunned it into a clear track. Deegan should've tried to arch as much speed out of that turn. Hymas already had the holeshot and should've just straightened out. That would've given him the most speed. That's why cutting only gave one advantage...the take out.

I love all the haters. I've seen haters from the early 70's when SX and MX were finally becoming a sport in America. None of the haters were ever in a race I ever watched lol. Anyways, this kid Matt Hammer is a real inspiration and a breathe of fresh air. He speaks so eloquently and has the world at his feet. Thanks for bringing him back. I like that he's not trashing any of his competitors but giving us inside info that a guy like me doesn't know. I pray Deegan can just stop crashing because with every hit to the ground is another hit he could ruin a great season/ year. Glad Chance is OK and hope he can go this weekend full throttle. The 250's are so exciting this year. So much talent and about 15 guys could win a race or overall.

Here is how i saw it after watching the overhead footage from the broadcast over and over again. At the start of the turn just before the apex, Chance squeezes in on Haiden from about half a bike behind. He pulls even with Haiden at the apex, they both start drifting out. At this point Chance is carrying a little more speed and has about half a bike on Haiden. Chance starts to slide out, then dabs his foot down catching Haidens front wheel. I can see how Haiden thought it was a take out, but it was a racing incident

Kitchen mentioned in the post race presser that it was really warm during the first moto, and in Haidens video you see him using a small portable fan attached to his handle bar while at the gate waiting for the race start. So yeah id say it was pretty hot out. Haiden says the arm pump was because of those gnarly downhills.

Listen, the Deegan thing didn’t start with that last corner. Go back and watch all the races when Chance drops anchor and Deegan‘s coming from behind to make a pass he always gets ran off the track or ran high, which is racing.. Deegan’s tired of it. He’s been hit three or four times on the start and Chance plays like he’s a nice guy, but he’s another Andrew short. I’m for real. It’s been about three or four times. Diggs goes to make the pass and Chance runs them off the track same with the starts. This guy is talking like he has no idea. I promise Chance will get it this weekend lol Thinking about next time

It was hot out there! We went and watched and it was brutal, 87° and humid…until it rained then cooled down some. A little wind way up on top of the hills, but the track is mostly down in the valley. Has been a little hotter though there before.
Watch the front view video. Hymas washed his front wheel, making him put his foot down in front of Deegans front wheel, causing the entire incident we all saw.

People just don't realize what a warrior Hayden Deegan is because they just assume he's this snotty little CZcams and media star who somehow is getting getting motocross and overall dirt bike accolades because of who his dad is.
He's had to deal with the of everyone believing he's a poser and wanting to kick his ass and send him packing. It could have gone 2 ways. He's gonna go cry into his pillow after being exposed or he's gonna suck it up, become an absolute warrior and program himself to thrive in both good and bad comments and thrive on it and cause him to work harder than anyone to become this warrior on and off the track making damn sure he's not some poser riding on Dad's coat tails. Hayden Deegan thrives on proving everyone wrong with loads of confidence and talent that has silenced the haters once and for all and he thrives on doing just that!!

Here is my take on the Deegan and Hymas thing. Everything that Deegan is saying on the podium is all just mind games and entertainment! He sees the positive effect this kind of thing has in sports like MMA and Boxing. But off the track, I don't think he actually has any ill will towards Hymas. I watched his video over on the Deegan's CZcams and in his exit interview of that, he was calm with a level head and even talking about the whole thing like it really was just a little moto mishap that happens all the time. Hell at one point he even talked like Hymas was just another rider trying to get out front and win, and he respects that like any other rider would. At least that is my take on it.

I think because Haiden has such a big lead, he needs things like having an issue with other riders to keep him focused and motivated. Chad Reed used to be like that, he would tell himself lies about other riders until he believed them just to give himself fuel to battle
Chance has the line and he controls the front. Deegan did same thing at budds last year and not one rider complained about it

Here is a concept to what is happening with Hymas….he is riding above his ability. He has cut in front of Deegan twice this MX season and everyone is calling them racing incidents…..if Hymas continues this trend it will be evident that he has to check up on the starts until he can handle the bike. Hymas inability not to control his ride has caused these racing incidents. Just a new angle to look at what is happening!!!
I picked up on his riding form looking off as well, He just didnt seem as loose and free flowing at times. He seemed stiff and more precise like he was focusing on technique. Not the entire race but there were moments.

Hymas/Deegan racing deal. But Deegs plays mind games and tries getting into other racers head!! He plays the “Bad Guy” well. I feel he is a good guy and Cocky. But Deegs can back it up…. That’s what our sport needs. Different personalities not all the same robots…
Think you are right. I follow Deegan channel, and more often than not he seems like a well behaved, smart and down to earth young man.
I do believe he acts a bit on stage, and also he speake his mind without thinking a lot about it.
Deegan is too aggressive. Reminiscent of JS7. It's a fine line, but Dungey proved smarter choices wins more championships over the long term.

Dude. Watch the video!!! Hymas back tire got loose and he dragged his leg. Possibly due to the mud and a paddle tire. Haidens front wheel rode up his leg that was dragging in the dirt. Thats what injured Hymas. Most likely would not have happened if Hymas had not dragged his leg.

I saw a different angle of the crash and it looked like Chance put his foot down and as he brought his leg out his boot either got caught in Haiden's front wheel or he ran over Chance's boot. Didn't look intentional on either one of them, just looked like racing to me and something that happens in the pack!

Chance did cut down...thats why he had to dab his foot...cut just alittle to much for the speed/grip he had...
Don't think it was deliberate though... its racing... and I'd say his inexperience in reading the grip levels to the speed he was going.... slightly less of a arch...he wouldn't of dabbed foot... there would of been no crash no injury... and would still be P2 in championship.

Chance did try to cut down on him but it screwed him, I don't think it was malicious he just lost the front and dabbed. He has bad ligament strength and that knee is toast for six months and another recovery Chance has to go through.

The opposite view shows Deegan running over Chances leg (after it got kicked out) and losing the front. There was no takeout, and Chances leg is now hurt from it.

Hymas had absolutely no responsibility for causing that first turn crash. He had position and it was also very slick. He just put his foot down to catch himself an Deegan ran over his foot. It was just a racing incident with no one at fault. They were both going for it. It does seem that Deegan expects everyone to get out of his way. If anyone can be accused of aggressive riding it is him. I have never seen Hymas be overly aggressive, but I hope he learns to be more so.

Slayer, he was winning SX races, almost won Pala. Then had a mid-season slump. Not sure why you are mad at me, hopefully it isn't over Hopper, I did everything I could to maintain that relationship. Yea I blew him up in the end, but I tried so hard to reach out and not let it get there. Levi had 7, 9, 7, and 6 finishes after looking like a contender early. You can call me a clown but maybe pick a more accurate comparison.
