✨ About me: ✨
Hi, I’m Zoe! (Pronounced like Zoey) I’m a 26 year old from Montreal making videos about my REAL life. After quitting my management consulting "dream job", then being laid off from a startup job, I decided to take a chance and work for myself. I'm now mainly focused on CZcams (my absolute passion) and side-hustle contracts in the copywriting and admin fields.
My videos centre around work, gentle productivity, mental health & personal wellness, with a touch of fashion, tech, and whatever else I'm living. My goal is to be open & honest ALWAYS and for my channel to be a fun, inspiring place where we can set goals and live our best lives together. I would love for you to subscribe 💝

You’re 100% right in paying off your car loan. 10% is actually a pretty high interest rate so you’re doing the right thing!
thank youuu!! can't wait for it to be GONE hehe
The fact that you’re thinking about these things at 26 puts you ahead of most people. Setbacks are frustrating but the hard makes the good that much better!
Thank you!! And you are sooo right about the setbacks ✨ we will reach our goals no matter what!
I live for these videos. I'm 10 years older than you but they have helped me and inspired me SO much. Thank you for always being so transparent.
I totally get wanting to pay off your car loan early. I feel like, while car loans are normal, if the interest rate is higher than what your money could earn in the stock market it’s more profitable to put anything you earn beyond the minimum payment to the car loan!!
I really like your videos because you don't sugarcoat everything. Keep it up!
I feel like your vet took advantage of you! You really shouldn’t ever need a blood test panel unless something is wrong. My dog does get her heart worm check every year. Next time you can ask your vet for an estimate or for how much something will cost in advance to make your decision. Do not let them pressure you for unnecessary things as that’s just for them to make money!
Baseline blood work can be helpful to detect changes early on :) I do blood work every 12 months for healthy pets or 6 months for pets with issues or who are older
@@ezraglenn8439 It can never hurt to know the base line but if you cannot afford it or were not planning to do it during that appointment that’s a lot to spend only because you felt pressured.
Zoe thanks for introducing to LINE, I ordered digital budget tracker. I am planning to order more items
that's amazing!! I hope it is super helpful for you 💖
I feel you with having those setbacks when you think you’re going to check off that goal off your list. I had that experience as well. The world will throw some challenges along your way just when you think you’re almost at the finish line, but I’m pretty sure you’ll still be able to do it, it’s just a bit delayed. Sending you good vibes, Zoe! I really love this mid-month check ins that you do. ❤
Thank you Alyssa!! loved this comment 💖 and appreciate your support!
Loved it!!! 🎉 Great to spend time with you. 😊And love hearing you make sense and reason out your life as it helps me to make sense of my own ❤
Thank you Mollie!! 💖
I just got my notebook from The Line! And I already have the cash envelopes! Love them both! I love writing everything out! I'm on your page Zoe!❤😊
ah yay!! so happy to hear this 💖
German perspective: So many German people are shocked at how in debt people in North America are. We are extreeeeeemly cautious when it comes to debt (and investing unfortunately) so I understand very well why you want no debt. Because it always costs more to lend than to pay with your own money :)
Yes I've heard this before too! Debt in North America is WILD idk how some people can sleep at night 😭 it's a very unhealthy way to manage money in my opinion 🙃
@@ZoePritchard yes, it is a very unhealthy way. So I'm glad you're trying to overcome it🙏 you're doing great
@@ZoePritchardFrom the UK and having lived in the US it's beyond shock and more shocking is how they have normalised massive debt. It's shocking to witness people regardless of income live in such debt and think it's normal.
I love your videos, i've been doing the cash envelope for over 10 years and it worked for me. It's a good system to those who can manage it. Putting all expenses on a credit card got out of hand for me. Good job at your age.
Hello from Namibia, love these mid- month check-in's, need to start on it
Hello!! 💖 so glad to hear you are loving them!!
Hi Zoe, because of your cash envelopes system I just bought a binder and will start in August. Very excited 🎉❤, thanks for the tips. (🇧🇷)
woohoo this is amazing!! so happy for you 💖 please keep me posted on how it goes!
really inspired me to start taking budgeting seriously, thanks
Perfect timing! 😊
yayy! ✨💸
I make over $200k/year and I cash stuff. To each their own but I also find it fun. I bought an accordion binder at the dollar store for $2.50. that's all I use and it works splendidly
amazing!! it IS so fun 😍
My system is complicated too, but it works! I have a budget spreadsheet and I also write on paper, Kakeibo style.
We are abundant so we don't mind! Love it!
yesss maam!! 💖
9:24 that’s such an awesome goal👏🏼
💖💖💸😂
love this channel 💕
thank youu 💕💕
Hi Zoe! Do you have a disc code for your agenda planner?😊
I think your system is great!!
Thank you!! I think so too hehe
Exact same thing happened to me at the vet yesterday - so hard not to freak out, especially as a new dog owner! And it’s also setting me back for this months car loan payment goals - Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts, it’s so nice to hear how other people deal with similar situations, that it’s normal, and that plans not going exactly perfect isn’t the end of the world 😂 🐶
we are in sync that is crazy!! but we will be back on track in no time, i know it 💖
Zoe, I'm a new subscriber and I have a question. What did you do as a strategy to pay off your debt? I am tackling a few and need some help figuring out how to plan to pay them off.
Hii!! Here is my video from when I was in the thick of my debt repayment: czcams.com/video/E5_W2s3QvcA/video.html I'm sure there are things I would do differently now (such as cash envelopes!!) but BASICALLY if you make debt repayment your number one priority, it will fly!!
Hi Zoe, first of all thank you for your videos, I really enjoy whatching them!
I've been following you for a few weeks and I only found out today that your budget tracker is on sale on TheLineShop. My gf and I are already using an excel file to track income and expenses, but your file is much more professional.
However I can’t understand if your file is suitable for us: in our excel file we have common expenses (bills, groceries, netflix, travels, home expenses etc…), my extra expenses, her extra expenses, my income, her income and common income (from a project in common).
How can we track these cash inflows/outflows separately in your file? We would like to keep tracking all these things in one file and not create different files.
Greetings from Italy!
Hii! That is amazing 😍 I'm pretty sure it would work but may I suggest you email the service team at The Line? They will be able to guide you on how to use the file for your specific needs! thelineshop.ca/pages/contact-us
It’s a lot of work,but it’s worth it!!
sooo worth it!! 💖
I think you would benefit from having a few sinking funds. They help you not have that feeling of being set back on your goals when life crap happens to you. Maybe a $500-$1000 emergency fund for your dog?
You should take FPU. You would love it
You’re such a comforting person to watch honestly, I feel like I’m sitting with a friend 🫶🏼
thank youu!!! this means so much to me 💖
I'd argue that coffee, dining out and personal care are alternate forms of entertainment expenses. Are there no ways to cut these down? I think one of the long-term goals should be to own your own home so you're not paying rent during retirement. Inflation will get worse.
i saw you last night at cathcart. and another time walking downtown with one of your girlfriends. anyways keep making great content. love your videos
ahh! next time say hi 😍
You are always pretty but today you look like a pretty ballerina ✨️ completely random but will you watch the Barbie movie? 🎀 setbacks are real and we all experience them. You've come such a long way Zoe and you have already achieved so much ❤
omg thank youu!! yes I went for a little balletcore moment 💖 I will for sure watch Barbie, but probably won't rush to watch it if that makes sense 🙃 & thank youuuu!
The vets can be insane!!!! They don't tell you your options/the costs so you can shop around for non-emergency procedures. And they give you looks/emotional prompts and it freaks you out!
My vet once said my dog needed 1 X-ray or a maximum of 3 for her legs. The vet took 27 x rays and expected me to pay for them all it was almost £1000 I was only quoted £150 😢. I was adamant that’s not what was planned and told them it was on them!
WHAT!! what a horrible service oh my gosh 😭
Just got the tracker ✅
amaaazing!! hope you love it!
What makes you decide your monthly budget? If you make a lot more in a month.
I choose a number I feel comfortable with and that will also allow me to have enough to save some of my income too. Even if my income fluctuates or goes up I want to try spend about the same every month and keep it lower than my income :)
