The piece of equipment is the Acoustic Sensor. At face value it doesn't seem great, but after some in game testing, it's an awesome piece of gear to put in your aresneal. It provides a directional notification of where enemies are on your minimap. This can be critical for knowing if you're close to an enemy and where they are coming from! Try it out!
