Just picked up this game for 20$ on amazon and as a avid golfer I'm simply amazed. As far as backspin goes try adding even more loft to the shot and clubbing up. You had me laughing though, even pros can't hit a 5 iron with backspin lol.

How come you hit every ball to the right, yet every shot, right before you do your swing you move the shot to the right even farther, then complain that your hitting it to the right too far. FFS

Really disappointed to see the spin still isn’t dialed in. Everything rolls like it’s coming out of deep rough. I remember they said they modeled it differently in this one from your livestream so hopefully they tweak it. Having control over the ball is what makes you feel like a pro and makes the game more rewarding.
Yes, this looks like it has the same problem with the ball rolling forever on the greens as the last game. This may be what keeps me from buying it. Very disappointing.
Love it when I have 5 foot putt and I bring club up like 6 inches and tap ball....ball misses hole slightly then abruptly rolls another 10-30 yards. REALISM
MrKlondikeGuy This I definitely agree with. The ability to put spin on the ball and drop it closer to the hole is far more realistic. The excessive roll on the ball did frustrate me greatly when playing GC2.
Played for a couple of hours last night. First time playing this series as I had previously played the TW series from EA a LONG time ago and more recently the Hot Shots/Everybody's golf. The ball run out was maddening. I don't understand how a game developer can have a 5 iron land 170 and run out to 200 yards. That doesn't even happen in real life unless you semi skull the ball. Not even drivers have that much proportion of carry and run out.

It looks like the loading times for a game is a little better than previously. can you confirm that. I'm also wondering if you feel its a good career mode- in the sense it would be so much better with more courses used in real PGA and have real players.
Also, was the wind a factor with the ball always going right before?
One more thing, could you take half a club off to counteract the ball running too far, or aiming a few yards shorter? Although this never works for me lol

I've been really excited for this game, but that ball runout on the greens looks really frustrating. I'm a mid handicap hacker, and my 7 iron doesn't run as much as these wedges do, it's like they have the spin rate of a driver. This was also a problem in TGC 2, but it looks worse in 2019. Disappointing.

I’m hoping they do something with the swing. Everyone’s swing is the same and we all know that’s not golf. If 2K is involved they should have multiple swings to choose from. Thoughts?

How do you get the extra power on your drives...? I can rarely hit over 280. I'm using a game controller with PS 4.

In your opinion, is this game much different than GC2? From a spectator's perspective this looks and sounds like the same game with PGA added to it.
I dont really like how the golfer looks like a zombie after every shot but especially after holing out on the green.
did you do the practice tutorial, just downloaded the game, they said when you land different swing tempos they are advance movements, along with loft and stance. have you tried that or just trying to hit perfect perfect everytime

I wanted to like TG 2 (on PC), butI struggle so much with their strange swing system. I tried both mouse and controller but neither really worked for me. Perhaps you have some tips how to get used to the system?
Use Masters Clubs. I'd bet they stick to the green a lot better. But you have to really watch your swing as they are very sensitive.

It looks like balls only run way too far when they land directly on the green. I think if you can manage one hop in the fairway first it should slow it down enough. It is a bit of a shame though as that's not how pros play most of the time.

How do the events work in solo society versus the computer? There is 35 events. So what is thr goal? You place differently in each event depending on how well you perform but what is the end game for the season? Is it whoever gets the best average placement through all events or what? Can someone explain please?!?!? Anyone at all?

Im not sure if anyone noticed but ...i payed 50 bucks for the game. And i was in shock to see it was only a 6 or 7 gb download..i love the fact it now has the PGA tour i mean great and some nice gameplay..but but this game seems to be a copy of TGC2..with some bug fixes and new content..anyone got there views on this??

TheApexHound - I got it. Went immediately to the master clubs. I only ever used tour clubs in the golf club 2. I shot 7 under in the Q school event after one practice round. I honestly think it might be easier than the last game was.

Xp is only for cosmetic items. You can’t improve your skills. I like it this way.

this game is terrible how can u have official tour with no real players and how can the spin when u hit ball towards green be so off ive hit a flop shot and when ball has hit green its rolled up hill another 15 feet past hole its strange then when u put down hill u have to smack the ball because it stops dead very very poor and sometimes a say 2mph wind can destroy your shot but say a 10mph wind u ain to compensate the shot and ball goes dead straight very odd
