I'm Mexican...and I approve this video. I would hang out with you guys.
Grandpas pronunciation on horchata is on point while yours isn't 😂
I came to say the same thing…accidental perfection is something else. Haha
@@Evol1HipHop My thoughts exactly lol
Y todavía dice "let's go with that" jajajaja un poco de vergüenza debería tener.
@@Sarahlynn___ Si lo dijo perfectamente 🤣 Todos dicen “HORCHAWDAW” nooooooooo…. Hahaha
The linguistics in Asian languages is very similar to those of Latin languages. That's why it's easier for them to speak Spanish without a heavy accent like they have in English
‘You’re on crack!’ ‘No. I’m on Mexican Coke.’ Had me rolling 😂
The Gungman is quick!
😂😂😂😂I'm dying when he said that 😂😂made my day my first video watching Chinese grandpa ❤love his vibes he one Gnarly 🤙🫡💯
Gung Gung is a sharp man! Their relationship is so fun.
I took my Mexican Grandpa to eat Chinese and he asked for tortillas and a jalapeno.
My parents are the same. Take them to KBBQ, Asian Food, heck Mediterranian and ask for Tortilla or Chiles.
The tech is to bring your own
I went to a Korean bbq recently with my parents in LA and they actually added tortillas to the menu 😂 I’m guessing people would ask for them hahaha
My father always carried a wrapped jalapeño in his suit pocket.😊
@FabiolaMacabre bro fucking sams but in houston. like its such a waste to have all that meat to cook and no tortillas to eat it with LOL
Im only 24 and my grandpa died a month after I turned 18 from cancer, we were close asf and had a lot of stuff planned to do together before he died. I wish I made a channel like this with him, he was crazy but funny as hell and loved eating, we hung out like 5 days a week and always went out to eat and walked around walmart in the middle of the night lol. You are gonna be glad you got all these videos some day!
Your grandpa seemed like a cool person. I never knew either of my grandpas. You were lucky to have him as long as you did in your life.
I wish mine was dead
I'm sorry he passed, I am sure he is still with you
Sorry to hear that
I agree - and your kids and grand kids will appreciate them too !
The grandpa actually pronounced "horchata" better than the grandson. But I do agree with the grandson that the Cabeza is the softest beef with Lengua the second most tender beef. The food looks really good but putting lettuce and tomato in a burrito or quesadilla is a straight up American gringo move, in Mexico they don't put lettuce in tacos or burritos.
These were all really good food but kind of like Mexican fast food. You guys should do a part two and try mariscos, molcajete, chile rellenos, more actual dishes. Thank you guys so much for showing love 🫶🏽
Quieres que se coman un molcajete?😂
@@themexicansensation2698nunca se lo acabarían 😭😭 ni se que quería decir, si una salsa o pico
@@maxhernandez1277it’s actually a traditional Mexican dish usually they just use the molcajete as the bowl they’ll put sizzling meat or shrimp ,cheese, onions , chile and you can eat with tortillas!
@@judithdelangel2378 Habla en español si tan conocedora de México te conoces, jajaja, no tienes NPI.
Mole, or how ever you spell it.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Chinese Grandpa is the man!!! But seriously I love the idea of the series, exploring different cultures through food. You guys are lucky to have each other 😍
Your Grandfather is so charismatic. I LOVE him! 😍
Your grandpa said Horchata the right way!
Love from Mexico 🇲🇽 ❤ Thank you for eating our food!
I love when grandpa's like "ayooo!!" 🧐😯 funny guy, funny guy 💀
As a Mexican I respect his honesty 🫡
Here in So Cal, the Quesadilla's usually only have cheese and the meat of your choice...
I'm from México, usually original quesadilla is only tortilla and cheese (Chihuahua or Manchego, or the Oaxaca cheese if you want the premium one)
Now, for "Special" quesadillas, you get Lorenzas or Caramelos (adding grilled meat); QuesaBirrias (Adding birria meat and dipping the tortilla in the consomé of the birria); Sincronizadas (Adding slices of jam and avocado, and some times a sauce); Quesadilla al pastor (With pork/lamb meat that has been marinared in adobo.
I’m from New Mexico. Ours is the same. But we do burritos differently, it’s usually just the meat or the meat and beans maybe cheese. We focus on our salsa a lot more.
I loved it when you said you were going to buy the food mañana and he said ¡ahora! 🤭😄
"I'm on Mexican coke" 😂.
That makes two of us grampa
Your Grandpa is super cool. Hold him close. I lost mine a few years back…and every once it a while it tugs at my heart. Savor every moment…🙏
You two are awesome! Never had lettuce & tomatoes in a Quesadilla, that ain't it!
We add tomato and lettuce in my house, but only when we want some plants in our system. Otherwise it's just cheese or cheese and ham
We add it on the top in my house
I agree, we do it as topper and we use guacamole 😁@@ruthlessntoothless7552
Its for flautas not quesadillas
Yeah that threw me off lol
You can not deny you are his grandson and he is your grandpa, when he was young he looked a lot like you. What a cool sharp as a whip grandpa - thanks for sharing him with us ! Now I want a Chinese Grandpa. Cow heads? Oh my !
Your grandpa is so funny and quick witted. Also, those tacos and birria tacos look so sad 🥲🥲🥲
Everything you gave your grandpa is like Mexican fast food/street food. It's really not sit down Mexican food.
Go with him to a Mexican restaurant where they have hand-made tortillas, menudo, pozole, birria stew, machaca and eggs, chorizo and eggs, chile verde, etc. You can do another video trying all kinds of Mexican seafood dishes, too.
Middle Eastern or Indian food would be interesting for your grandpa to try.
That's what I was thinking👍👍👍
Mexicans have the best seafood, siete mares, tostada mixta, aguachile, my mouth is watering
jajajaja cállate chicano, todo lo que mencionas en México también se considera comida de calle.
@@Sarahlynn___😂😂😂😂
Indian food!
As someone from LA, I feel sad for you guys. Only the tacos looked decent. You never put lettuce in a burrito or quesadilla.
Are you sure about that because you are wrong there are different kinds of tacos and burritos
I was disappointed in how that Mexican food looked too. I'm also on the East coast, and we definitely have better options. Who doesn't put rice in a burrito?
@@nicktom52yeah its rare to find lettuce in tacos or burritos that happen to be "authentic" , the ideal taco only has meat, onions and cilantro with a choice of salsa, the burrito is the same with the addition of rice and beans , thats it nothing else if you are having a burrito from a restaurant with lettuce in it , i can almost bet that place is mediocre at best
@@TerraTechs1 u are wrong again also certains parts of Mexico is different
@@mrtyreus0East coast, rice in burrito lol?? I won’t say ride in a burrito is bad but it definitely is not authentic
I love seeing your family dynamic, warms my heart so much
Grandpa was a serious unit back in the day! Much respect to you sir.
"This is the best day ever!" Lovin' gum gum. Thanks for this video.
Glad you chose cabeza lmao that’s some real Mexican shit right there you passed the test ✅😆
The second your grandpa said ahora, I subscribed. 🥰
Taquitos and flautas are completely different, but very similar 😂😂😂
It's like a chimichanga to a burrito or Chalupa to Taco.
Flautas are the American name for Tacos Dorados (Taquitos)
@@6thHokageJuanthe American Name what are
You talking about? Tacos dorados are flat and Flautas are rolled up.
@@danielolivares5 Tacos Dorados can also be rolled up...in Nueva Italia Michoacan, if you ask for Flautas they wouldn't know what to give you...
@@6thHokageJuanno they’re not each Mexican region is different
@@6thHokageJuanWhat are you saying
Thanks for share this awesome moment with us. I'm from Mexico and your grandpa is so sweet. I love the Quesadillas always 😊
I don't even know how your video came up on my algorithm or my feed, but I'm so glad it did! Your grandpa is so stinking cute and you are so adorable! I think it's so freaking beautiful the two of you spend time together like this! I never had a relationship with my grandparents and it's just so beautiful to see the two of you spending time together!
This was the first video I’ve seen from you two and I love it! I love your grandpa’s story, your respect for him and your dedication to sharing different foods with him when you knew he wanted to try different foods. You both are overflowing with hilarious personality! I will be binge watching!
Grandpa pronounces horchata perfectly.
His grandson: "sure...we'll go with that"
Super awesome to see you two together ... so fun to watch !!!
Lost both my grandpas around 7 years ago. Was real close with both of them. Love seeing people getting closer to their elders. I’d give anything to go back to 8-9 years ago before they left. Never know when you won’t see them again.
From a 57 year old Italian Chef: GUNG GUNG is a bad-ass!!!
Mark it down...book it. Superstar in the making.
Love this. I visit my grandpa and have him try new cuisine almost every weekend and by far he love most Asian cuisine. Mostly Chinese cuisine. Love your videos keep them coming. Blessings to you and your family . ❤️
Big fan, my grandfather passed away when I was 14, but this is the kind of content I would be putting out if he was still around. Keep up the good work!
The main difference in these Mexican food dishes is what’s carrying the meat, so it’s extremely important to eat them right off the griddle . The meats all take a long time to be prepared so they’re not going to change much if you wait 30-60 minutes, but the whole point of eating a quesadilla is its crunchiness combined with the cheese pull that’s missing when you wait for over an hour to eat it. Same with the torta, the bread is toasted for a reason, and if you wait around for it to get steamed in a wrapper you’re missing the whole airiness of the bread combined with the velvetiness of the refried beans mixed with bits of salty, crumbly cheese. It’s like judging a pizza that was delivered an hour ago, nothing beats when Mexican food is eaten straight off the griddle, the most you can wait to truly experience it is the walk to your car. Once all the ingredients all hit the same temperature, food’s basically ruined and you lose that difference in textures and it all becomes one jumbled mess. If you reheat the food with the lettuce, tomato and avocado in it you’re basically a monster. 😂
Oh my, I so agree.
I appreciate his honesty and love his reaction to different foods. Hope grandpa enjoys more to come!
This is the first video I’m seeing from you and I’m subscribing because I absolutely love your grandpa!
Love the shorts, but the longer form content is where it's at! Much love guys
God its so refreshing to see an honest person give their honest opinion. Like, we wont get mad if people dont like some or all our dishes, i dont. However, we are in a time were people kiss ass and say they love everything. His honesty was refreshing.
So nice to see you have a relationship with your Grandfather. Good for you and Good for him. God's Blessings to you. 😊
He's so adorable! I loved this!! So wholesome 😊
Chinese dad just casually hanging around in the background. 😂
