- Covertly access Mayhew's headquarters and retrieve data from the company computer system.
Objectives:
1- Don't let the security guards raise the alarm
2- Install Q-Worm on office computer systems
3- Locate the Secure Terminal Room

Another of my favorite missions, yet I still don't know if there's a way to not trigger the alarm at the end when you retrieve the NightFire files.
It's also a really easy mission, probably one of the easiests on the game.

“Anything can be penetrated with the proper tool.” So many incredible innuendos in this incredible game I never noticed as a kid lol
(Japanese laughter)
lol my like made it a 69 Noice
immediately followed up by "You've been hard at work Bond, ...", by the way, all bond films have this in them
When I would play this mission, I would get so scared because of the ambience and the fear of getting caught. This game had such great music and environmental stealth gameplay that really changed James Bond FPS. Best one yet besides N64
Haha same, I didn't manage to finish it back then.
Who knew one dude who can run and press a button could be more terrifying than a private army of hardened men with assault weapons and military vehicles.
I thought it was just me😭😭
A liminal space for sure.
The innuendoes in this game that i finally caught when i got older 😂😂😂
''Anything can be penetrated with the proper tool.'' Oh myyy... James ;)
"Would you ladies mind giving me a ride?"
@@sirpizo555 Fuck, I didn't think twice about that until now lol 😂
"The Q-Worm"
- Q, there's a lady present
Holy fuck these are hilarious
Jocke I don’t get that one
The atmosphere was so weirdly eerie in this mission
navigating the hallways gave me backroom vibes
It felt super comfy to me, the rain, the jazzy music. It's always been soothing to me.
@@Fanchus I def agree with you, this level is so comforting and I think it had a huge impact on my aesthetic tastes as a kid lol
The Q-Worm (card/disk) is awesome! I remember that little animation of him tossing the card to his other hand. I thought that was so cool at the time.
Now I do that at the registers at stores, restaurants, etc. when I'm checking out. It looks cool....until I miss and drop the card, and then have to pick it up. Then it doesn't look cool.
I used to copy that animation when I was young. Now I'm 18 I still do that
Bro I do the same. Always loved that thing
@@jacobrichardson1952 me too and I'm 29
@@wentoneisendon6502 only thing is missing is the little disc inside the card as a Q-Worm.
The card disc has a surprisingly sophisticated animation I'm surprised
I remember I just used cheats to unlock all the characters on multiplayer, and I'd have deathmatches with the AI. I'd set the weaponset to explosive only, everyone's health to 25, and it was just pure chaos. I loved it.
I did shit like that... Hahahahaha
I loved multiplayer on this game
Same here
Just be oddjob
I remember having extreme difficulty beating this at 9 or so years old...Years later I could fly through this.
William Hall right me too I was raging well not really anyway I hate that
William Hall me2
This was the map I never manage to beat so I quit the game
Funny you say that I started playing it again for the first time in years again and was saying to my wife i hate this map its easy to end up going around in circles
I know right it's crazy when you use your mind to telekenetically destroy a military cargo plane flying from the air Force Base near the pamir mountains in Tajikistan
This and the japanese mansion level was my favorite back in the day, so many awesome enviroments, and sniping in that nuclear plant also was really awesome!
Double Cross is me and my grandpa’s favorite mission

This game used to be so hard I swear
Yea it used to be but this mission gave me the fuckin nightmare as a kid.
I used to just punch the security guard
Yup. When I first realized this, I just ran through them fist first!
Guard: "Hey!" "Where do you think..(punch) 😄
Yeah, it's far more efficient and they stay knocked out.

5:05 I got so scared I thought you'd fall lol
That got me too!
I used to have a crush on Kiko when I was a kid.
as did i friend!
We all did
She was hot......especially at the end!
@@romeo_alpha0176 i like what you did there friend _^
I did too friend. I did too lol
Pro tip - You can just punch the guards to knock them out and it won't count as killing a civillian. Since they react so slowly to you you might not even need the dart gun :)
I don't know if it's different on higher difficulties, but at least on lower ones, they'll just stare at you for a good few seconds before bothering to (slowly) run for the alarm. You have to TRY to lose by the alarms.
You can always just punch the non-hostile guards. That way they despawn instead of wake up. In any case, you go so fast I doubt it matters.
Q Branch from Nightfire looks like Harry Truman.
What’s really shitty is that I played this game as a kid, and grew up to be armed security. Bond is the opps now. I wonder how many of those guards showed up to work still kinda drunk from the night before, thinking about how much they’d rather be anywhere else than in their uniform patrolling the same shit they’ve seen a thousand times before they’re darted unconscious by a state sponsored professional infiltrator.
Hahahaha
I think these bond games are the main reason why I enjoy the atmosphere at night. I always feel like bond while walking or driving at night.
I always loved the view of this level. Especially the part where Bond jumps on the lift. The city looks so good for the PS2/GameCube era. One of my favourite games and levels.
God the sound design is just so freakin good
As a kid I always thought this office looked like a cool place to work.
Reminds me of vaporware.
when i was a little kid i used to play this game and this was my favorite level :) and TBH i always thought that Dillard's Mall was Phoenix Building and i always dreamed of sneaking the mall in FT Smith and be like James Bond but i turned it down i mean i can be stealth like and undercover though hahahahahaah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I still hate this mission as a kid because of the surveillance security cameras.
@@jacobrichardson1952 first floor laser test cycle now running
@@jacobrichardson1952 ikr man it was a challenge for me dude Hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Y'know after that ending to the mission where Bond gets into a car with a couple of giddy girls, I'd say it's safe to assume 007 got a lot more "action" during this grand mission
6:13 took me so many tries to figger this out
NL RS you’re not alone I had trouble with that too.
Literally never finished this because I never knew you had to HOLD DOWN the button lol
Exactly that was never clear
Me too drive me crazy lol
SAME! thats what im trying to say! i keep shooting at the turrent gun LOL
6:39 One of the filters on the sunglasses can see the tripwires. Though no matter what the alarm will go off.
The x-ray filter glasses. I remember using that on women at the party in the exchange mission lol
I always liked this mission, and then you get back and kick everyone's ass.
If the Q-Worm was a thing, I'd install it on the school computers.
It was. Back in the old days of 4chan you could download some gnar shit onto a flash drive and absolutely melt a local server.
Building looks spectacular!
That card animation. I love doing that with my employee card at work lol.
Fun Fact: the dart gun here is based on the Heckler and Koch P11 Dart pistol. The use of it in game is incorrect however, as it’s primary use was for underwater operations, not for tranqulizing people.
I hated this mission so much. My favorite mission is the exchange when you infiltrate Drake's castle.
Mine too
I work as a security guard, but there's no doubt that Mr. Bond would tranquilize me before I could pepper spray his ass :D
This was such a good game
Ah man that Q Worm segment got me good
played the CoD modern warfare games in excess, eh? "CHECK those corners!" 😋
There’s a trick on this level to take off the guards without killing them and preventing them to wake up , just approach them from behind and punch them!
You can also punch them right in front of them and it works the same way :)
2:56 sneak 100 moment
7:14 i like who they animated the scenes with a p99 despite using a ppk throughout the game
That's because it's an unlock, but they could've taken care of that small detail indeed
Ah yes, I used to play this mission a lot back when I was like 6 or 8 yrold. I always got caught or trapped on the hallways😂, but mostly its because I didn't know how to open the door with keypad.
"Q! There's a lady present."
0:15 anyone noticed he's crosseyed just before he blinks?
I thought he was twitching
The mission that got me stuck for months, perhaps even years.
lol omg it's so scary because you move fast through those power beams, but I feel like I'm gonna move to slow and run into one of them & fail the mission.
You can turn them off in the security offices on the floor below, saves you a lot of headaches.
I took SO LONG to get through this level back when I was a kid omg
also, hitting the espressos a bit much there, speedy McSpyglass? 😁😁
Man I friggen hated this, Chain Reaction, and Phoenix Fire before I got the hang of the game. After that I fell deeply in love with them.
God damn this was a good game
These games a need a remaster
The key is you dart them, when they are down you punch them. Cheat codes son
Then it must be a keyblade if you just straight-up punch them.
SuperSackCooper "anything can be penetrated with the proper tools"
"Call it a hint. Of bigger things to come"
* Bond Movie Series rebooted *
one thing i dont get at the intro cutscenes, the V12 Vanquish is Left Wheel Drive in the earlier levels, while in this cutscene, it's Right Wheel Drive. What's up with that?
007 is the greatest secret agent in the world.
It like a movie where you decide what Bond does. That elevator going up and down reminds me of the university where a friend of mine went. It was known to be haunted and an elevator goes up and down late at night unoccupied
I miss this game on ps2
Had this game for the pc and even the gameboy advance. This version of the level was the only easy one lol.
this mission took me weeks to figure out as a kid lol
Guy who just accepted a night shift job working security to buy Christmas presents for his family: Patrolling minding his own business.
Bond: Night night.
Lol
I remember getting stuck on this mission as a kid because I didn't know how to use the decryptor, so I kept looking in vain for a passcode to Mayhew's office.
Edit: Also, I always punched the guards to knock them out on this stage. They stay knocked out if you do that.
Same, took me a year or two to figure out how to use it
I used to always taze the guards instead cuz they looked so funny 😂 but then they would wake up and the music would ramp up and id never pass the mission. Music was suuper eerie and suspenseful tho. Lowkey creeped me out lol
Funny ending.
This game is fucking amazing, well played too
At 3:21 the gun and the door felt the beat.
I always raged on this level
this is the best 007 game
Honestly graslu, when I played the level, I didn’t use the dart gun. Just walked up to the guards and knock their lights out if they spot me.
When I was a kid back in like 2007, I had gotten to the last portion of the mission, but like around 6:10, I was never able to figure to get the passcode for the door. I knew that using the decryptor phone was the only thing to help me progress in the mission, but it still wasn't letting me through. I kept tapping the trigger thinking that it work I finally figured out that I was supposed to hold the right trigger while looking at the door instead of simultaneously tapping the trigger. I don't know why I didn't think to hold the trigger lmao.
Can next the game.??
@@victorgananoc9328 What??
Every level of this game is better than the last.
Nostalgic
All those double entendres I didn't pick up on as a kid wow 🙄
I remember using the x ray glasses at 6:40 and it showed the lasers. Touch one laser then the alarm went off early. I wonder what other easter eggs they have
that mission was hard af even with the walkthru
Ikr i remember
Japanese guy knocking the door Says!
I wish they made props from this game to cell. Im sure it would have boosted popularity
damn this looks good! on what system did you play this on?
I'm playing on Dolphin, so it's the emulated GameCube version.
Gamecube had a very underrated GPU in my opinion. Sadly the small discs discouraged more third party devs from making games for it. I love mine, still have it though I often just use my Wii as it can play GCN games too.
@@Graslu00 How was your thanksgiving my cool friend?
Wish they would turn this into a movie and ask Pierce Brosnan to come back one last time to portray James Bond.
Night guard: We've got an intruder!
James Bond (punches guard out) And you get the rest of the night off.
This game is still insanely fun. I was just playing bot mode and laughing my ass off when using the sentinel missile launcher against bots.
Reloading after one shot... oh my that drives me nuts lol
Well there's no reason not to when there's nobody around with the dart gun
Did you know once you hit the button to activate the Q-worm, you can just leave? You don't have to wait for the disk to be inserted.
Yes, but it's a fun little animation to see.
Why do you reload after 1 bullet?
There's no one else around so I just reload.
Top off when you can. Every round counts
what buttons do u push to unlock the keypad doors using the decryptor
Just keep pressing the shoot (R) button while aiming at it.
Graslu00 that decryptor look like a 1998 Motorola StarTAC
If they expect you to use the Dart gun for a majority of this level why do they not even give you more than one magazine for it.
I just punch everything in the stealth sections.
The game did its best in trying to replicate Goldeneye N64. Didn’t like the fact they had a different actor voicing Pierce Brosnan’s Bond. Also it would’ve also been helpful to add a radar in this game, so that you would know if there is any enemies coming.
This level is very similar to the Bad Diplomacy in 007 Agent Under Fire
pc version for this mission is ridiculously tedious and difficult. just quicksave/quickload abuse
I'm not sure how it is on the other consoles but I remember the decryptor having the Bond gunbarrel and a crosshair on the top screen when it's opened for the Xbox version.
Just checked myself on Xbox and you're right, it does have the gunbarrel + crosshair. Don't think it's there on PS2 and definitely not on GCN.
Is it just an emulator issue or is it actually like that?
It's actually like that - czcams.com/video/FAQatBeV4UQ/video.html
Interesting find, never noticed it on PS2. Watched a video for Nightfire on Xbox and I can definitely see the missing stuff on the top screen. I don't think it's intentional though, weird that it broke for Gamecube & PS2 versions but renders fine on the Xbox version. Probably a rendering/texture issue.
im stuck at the red area on this mission, i keep shooting at the turrent gun, back then theres was lack of guidance, nowdays the game will tell you what to do.
彼は階段に入った!
So I got a Mouse Injector working for Dolphin, but for some reason in this level when you're... I think the 3rd phase of the level? Where you get to see Bond within a cutscene with a helicopter flying by, the Mouse Injector suddenly stops working and I have to alternatively use a controller the whole reset of the level. Not sure if there is a fix for this, I don't like using a controller, especially when you can't adjust anything for the sensitivity in-game (at least, haven't checked yet but still). Otherwise, it's a very good revisit -- the game. Better than the actual PC version by fair.
Yeah, the mouse injector for Dolphin (Especially Nightfire) isn't complete. You'll either need a controller or use the arrow keys to get around those parts.
@@Graslu00 If it is incomplete, then no problem. I'll just keep an eye on it for updates.
@@SleeperJohns I'm afraid it won't get any new updates, Carnivorous is working on other stuff now.
@@Graslu00 Damn that sucks. I hope someone else picks it up, I'm not much of a controller user. The look-sensitivity and such is a little too wonky for me in this game, even though I have played it with the controller in the past, it's just hard to pick up again. Not impossible though.
This mission was a pain in the ass on PC...
Does anyone know what song is playing at the very end starting at 8:30??
What happens next when drake makes his next move graslu00?
Tyree Powell goddamn it bro SERIOUSLY I told you to stop using your ray gun to turn me into emperor palpatine. Fuck man come on smh

I'm playing it on Dolphin Emulator at 2k if I remember correctly.
