Webinar: Can Leaders Change Organisational Culture - Executive MBA Sample Lecture

Sue Dopson, Rhodes Trust Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Associate Dean of Faculty at Saïd Business School explores the concept of organisational culture, a phenomena that is discussed a great deal by leaders as they seek to change organisational practices, however often a very simplistic understanding guides thinking. This webinar looks specifically at two models and critically assesses what leaders can learn from them. There is much debate in the literature as to whether leaders can indeed change culture and some of the arguments for and against the debate are examined.

Verry informative.
I think that Gary Vaynerchuck has a fantastic approach as a CEO who is a 12 hour on the floor HR officer. He does this by creating with his team a positive cultural environment which breeds a deep connection and understanding of values, and the way people treat each other in the workplace.
This stimulates a productive environment eradicating as much negativity as possible. His emotional intelligence level approach is amazeing, and you can actually feel the positivity that is being influenced, and then adopted by others creating an amazeing feedback loop. This is verry much a level 2 and 3 approach like Scheine's model but on a deep level.
