I love the SP version.. I had the base but sold it to get an Africa Twin, which I love as well.
But I’ll have to get the MT09 in some time again, such a great bike.

The Africa Twin would be better for me because of the parallel twin. 3 cylinders ain’t really my cup of tea.

@@MaskedGearheadI love twins. I have owned my 2016 09 now for almost 2 years but keep shopping twins with similar power (Duke 890, monster 937, etc). Love a rowdy thumper twin. Also really love my 09, I take it to the track and such. Not sure what the future holds for me haha

Nope. Left it as is.

No quick shifter?

First of all, the downshift on the quickshifter is disabled. I like to rev match.
For upshifts, I only use it in high revs or when I’m pulling the throttle real hard. I don’t like to quickshift UP on low revs.
And… i rarely use it from 1st gear to second. Only from 2 to all the rest above.
