I always feel like my hair is super fragile dampish so I don’t like detangling it then…i need to give your method a shot
It is fragile, hair is weakest when wet/damp.
It is indeed more fragile when wet. If your hair is very weak, I would suggest detangling it instead when it's well moisturized but not wet nor dry. Damp hair detangling is a sweet spot for me now that my hair got thicker and healthier. When it was super weak, I wouldn't have done. If you want to try out the method I used in this video, I would say to do it on a small portion of hair first to see how your hair tolerates it. I hope this helps hun 💕.
@zeppelin_7245 Yes, you are right. By damp, I mean SLIGHTLY spritz with water 💧 with a conditioner or a moisturizing lotion. In this video, my hair was more damp than usual. I think it worked out because of where I am in my healthy hair journey. In the past, using this method would have caused so much breakage for me. It is important for one to learn their hair and see what it could tolerate or not. If you guys do decide to try the method in the video, do it on a small portion of hair gently with a wide tooth comb.

How long did it take your hair to get so thick and full? I used to think thickness was dependent on whether you use lye or no lye relaxer but that doesn’t seem to be the case at all
