So i would sing the overlapped vocals separately, and then combine them when im making the actual song.
I think this is the smoothest I've heard a Neco Arc cover, she doesn't have that ever present scratchy smoker's voice. I won't lie though, that scratchiness does work great for some songs.
I used two different voice models, a normal one and an aggressive one. The aggressive one being the smokers voice one I used for the male parts. you can also hear that I used the Normal one in the left ear and the Aggressive one in the right ear during the second and third chorus.
