2000 Buick Century Derby Build Ep 4: Derby Aftermath

Got some derby luck and good driving on our side. A lot of parts are ready to fail and break on this car. Now we can take it apart for the parts we need.

Dang my comment was close in a pre-derby prediction. Oh it looks soo familiar to what happened to my century. That thing was junk in the front just like yours after that derby. Mine just pulled out that cv axle and that was that. Congrats to Susan again for getting that first, what a fight!

Similar thing happened too the Buick my brother ran the only difference was that he was dragging the whole subframe and the driver side axle snapped while the passenger side was hanging on by a thread but wouldn't move. Also since that side of the subframe crumbled downwards it most likely pulled the steering shaft out of the rack and pinion

Pick up the front end with the skid steer to see the rack issue

If it was me honestly I’d probably run it again for the most part dosnt look to bad from the video most of it looks like decently easy fixes for at least one more show I’m cheap so I like to get as much out of a car as I can tell it’s a crumpled beer can
