Excellent travail 👍
Классный "мираж" получился. Отличная работа, молодец!!!
This is not scale modeling.
THIS IS ART (I feel my heart slow down).
I love this plane and work on painting, bravo!
Très beau travail !
Iconic mirage.
Perfect paint job .

The MIrage III B/C HELLER is EXCELENCE in MIRAGE III C
Amazing Mirage!
Saludos un excelente trabajó. Que paciencia saludos desde México.
Great work and beautiful plane. One gripe though, the blue in the decals is the wrong shade, it should be a darker. closer to royal blue, not sky blue. Eduard kits are great but this is an important detail they got wrong here!
Fantastic job...!! 😮
Lovely job! 👍🏻 I also built the weekend version of this kit and it was riddled with issues...big gaps near front wheel well, wings warped, fuselage warped, and ridiculously bad main gear undercarriage locations (i.e.none!), it was HELL! So well done.
Yeah, i actually ask myself many times if the manufacturers build test samples of the kits they release ... but the more mistakes you make the more you learn from them.
Totally agree with you...now Eduard have done it AGAIN with the new Tempest Mk.V...it also has similar (if not worse) fit issues! 🙄
Excellent paint job. It really does look like it's made of metal and NOT styrene!
Awesome great work
Very nice.
Magnific cette avion
Excellent 👍.
Amazing
You've done an incredible job! Although one constructive comment, next time try to polish the gloss black/primer so that you get an even better metallic result!
A work of art! Just be careful using so many font styles and colors. It can be really distracting from enjoying your beautiful work.
Very cool and great job- did you use any outside references because I can’t seem to find any for my Mirage IIIR
Nice work! What jig are you using to hold the model while painting? Thanks
Another great build may I ask was there many fit issues with the kit? It looked from the video as if it was a pretty straightforward build with not a lot of filler or sanding involved.
Kind regards Dave
Hi and thank you , i had some fitting issues with the Forward main wheel bay , there was a gap between the Fuselage and the Wheel bay (maybe it was my mistake), and some minor gaps between wings and Fuselage you can see the gaps at 7:18 min in the Video
Many thanks for your reply it is much appreciated. I must say I fancy building one of these now I have seen your video build most inspiring!!
Kind regards Dave.
I do not think you made an error Headmod, that is the way the kit is...I built it and really struggled with many issues...by modern standards, I think it is quite crude and I would warn other modellers to maybe think twice before getting this one...look great on the sprue but lots of fit and gap problems. Headmod's great skill may be overselling this kit! Lol! 😉
Wonderful, thank you for the inspiring video. The technique is excellent and the subject very interesting, not just another f18/f15/f16...I love that era of shiny planes! I also find interesting the black base paint layer. Is there any special reason to prefer it to another base color, if any? Bye
If you want super shiny surface use Gloss Black Color , as you can see in the Video i used Grey Primer on some Panels ( it seems to be semi gloss or matte) so i get completly color change the Panels. Try to experement on a piece of plastic or spare model , you will notice that Matte Primers gives you a Matte metal finish and gloss primers Shiny gloss finishes , but gloss black gives you that shiny mirror like finish if you polish it before apllying metalizer.
Buen trabajo!!!
Классно получилось!!! Подпишусь на вас)))
Your brush for weathering with oils, what is it?
Hello Headmod, what do you use for the oil dots?
Headmod for Modelling President. I bet plasmo looks every of your video and learns something new. AMAZING WORK. Do you sell these modells too? I live in Africa and would love to buy some of your work.
Los aviones de combate no brillan!!!!
Stunning build! Your method of masking off panels to shoot grey primer is something I will definitely try. No need to mask and shoot different metallics to get the effect. This plane has the perfect amount of weathering on it as well. This is a living room piece, not one for a dusty shelf in the man cave.
