  • Through the First Person program, Holocaust survivors have the opportunity to share their remarkable personal stories of hope, tragedy, and survival with thousands of visitors at the Museum. This program was recorded on June 6, 2019. It features Agi Geva,, who was born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1930. Agi survived a number of camps, including Auschwitz and Plaszow, as well as a death march before being liberated by American forces on April 28, 1945.

    This man has such a sensitive voice and manner perfect for these horrific confessions. I'm very sorry for all who went through these events in history.

      I think he's excellent too. I love how he kindly will transition them sometimes, he's so very respectful. He doesn't grill them like some of the interviewers of Holocaust Survivors.

    Thank you Agi Geva for sharing your very hard to talk about time during the Holocaust. I am amazed how your Mom led you all to be positive. You have followed in her footsteps!

    Agi's story is very inspiring, especially in how she was able to get this message across while also moving the audience to laughter. To be able to bring a room to laughter in the face of such sad subject matter, is truly human connection coming together. I would very much like to track down a copy of her book.

    Thank you for sharing your heartbreaking experiences. You are remarkably free of anger & hate. The Holocaust is a shocking stain on human history, one of the greatest example of man's in humanity to man. But your resilience, grace, perseverance & intelligence is an inspiration!
    This interviewer is outstanding!
    He is empathetic, gentle, respectful, knowledgeable & very professional!
