technique and settings ke accroding yeh high budget movie thi or box office par average bataya gaya tha, but critically and technically appreciated movie thi and ofcourse 12 lakh budget nahi tha, can you imagine anil,jakie and madhuri for 12 lakh, impossible, i am 80's kid and i was very much aware of all about movies and mags.

I like it very much and i watch it even now when ever it telecast in sony max channel at late night every time. Extraordinary music and rercording of R. D. Burman like Bollywood movie..

Anil and Madhuri were cast opposite each other for the first time in Parinda, followed by Ajeeb Aadmi then Ram Lakhan and Tezaab. Ajeeb Aadmi got shelved and the pair was cast for Hifazat which came first in 1987.. even before Tezaab.

One fact not mentioned here - there was a time when the movie was supposed to be shelved.. when Vidhu-ji informed that to RD Burman, it was RD who did the recording of one of the songs at his own cost.. Vidhu-ji never forgot this favor.. he really loved RD very much.. and such was his gratitude that he actually returned this by offering RD the music of 1942-A love story, when everyone left RD alone and he was almost forgotten.. this shows the real humanity of Vidhu-ji.. Love you Vidhu Sir 🙏🙏
