Against Nottingham Forrest Liverpool had a corner not given to them, there was a drop ball that should have been theirs earlier in the game but it was given to Forrest, Konaté should have had a free kick for a high boot against his head and two Forrest players were given cards for time wasting in added time. Lyes has gone from Erik Ten Hag you’ve rocked my world to he’s a schmuck in a year. I know we’ve been poor this season, but everyone agreed that this would be at the very least a three year project. And with ETH trying to implement a system while also dealing with key players constantly being injured and out of form there was always going to be issues.
I’ve had my own grievances with ETH, but ultimately this was the man the fanbase almost unanimously agreed should be the one to lead this club. With a proper sporting structure hopefully coming into place this summer, he should at least be given a third season to try and turn it around

i think gakpo is a winger out and out, he had a good spell at striker but he’s not very aware of his surroundings so he’ll take a touch then get crunched or make the wrong decision, a false 9 almost has to be as good at scanning as a midfielder and he’s not. His youth days and PSV days he played as a winger where everything’s in front of u so u don’t have to scan. I think eventually klopp will give up on him at striker and just have him as a backup winger, he’ll get his chance to become a starting winger when salah leaves or when diaz is out of form cus jota and nunez have that 9 position on lock but they’re also injury prone and between gakpo and diaz you’d put gakpo as the 9 but he’s still 23 so even if he’s average for another 3 years he could come good eventually and have a good career, and in the mean time he’s probably the best 5th choice forward in world football, can’t think of any better right now

This is my opinion! I have to say no matter what Arsenal reason they are looking so well is because Arsenal Plan A is always working against poor teams and teams who don’t press at all. I can say Arsenal will never beat any teams who can control the midfield. The win against Liverpool was against a 45% Liverpool. Arsenal has no Plan B.

The difference between Arsenal since January and the rest of season is, now the team is confident that they have players in attack who can receive the ball and not lose it and cause a counter. Havertz is a big contributor to that, he has gained confidence so the rest of the team don't hesitate in giving him the ball. At the same time, the team is getting much better at defending transitions, with Kiwior also gaining confidence, also remember Saliba is still young, he is still learning a lot every game. We can attack with a lot more freedom now because the team spent a lot of time in the first half of the season perfecting their defending strategies.

Watch Gravenberch and Nunes at City this season, then watch them next season. Both are kind of being introduced into the system, similar attributes, I personally wanted Grav at City coz I think he is more quality than Nunes, but Nunes next season will be amazing for us. The short bits I've seen of him is already impressing me. He is having a very muted first season unlike Grealish who took so much media, Nunes is learning everything under the radar, playing different positions dropping 5/10 and sometimes MOTM performances. Interested to see the differences between the two next season.

I know jota is out for a couple months now but even like nunez coming off the bench would’ve thrown them off cus gakpo was a false 9 all game so defenders would’ve had to follow him dropping them suddenly u have one of the fastest players in the league running in behind every 20 seconds. I do think we’ll miss jota not only because of the player he is but because we don’t have as much flexibility when we can only change one forward in the 90

Guess what they defended well and won the ball back.
