I watch these videos all the time from different folks and the pedestrian life seems to be somewhat rude and unruly when it come to manners and consideration for others i.e. the motor scooters and bikes in the these, narrow should be walk only alley ways, looks kinda sorta dangerous but I guess one would say that's the "culture" here. Lol keep but the good work and try not to get run down lol

I love ❤ taking virtual walks through different areas of Manila with you. Gil Puyat Street and Gen Santos Blvd? was where I stayed at the Atrium Hotel when arriving or flying out of NAIA. I recall one time when the taxi I was in was pulled over and it was about lunchtime. The driver was going to be given a ticket should the fine not be paid immediately. and then the driver told me that the cop just wanted some lunch, free lunch and he noticed that I was a foreigner. Policemen that do that sort of thing make the foreigners wary. I understood why the guy did it because they are not paid a descent wage. When they do that they are giving the Philippines a black eye. One that your country does not deserve. A seed of mistrust was planted that day. Your country is gorgeous and most of the people are courteous and respectful. The Philippines are after all, “The Land of Smiles.” A country I want to make my home.😊

The people are happy, kids can play safely and unattended in the streets. Everyone seems to mesh seamlessly sharing the streets no matter how narrow. Friends hold hands and hug their friends necks publicly. America is never going to have peace like that.
Many cultural entities are at play in the Philippines that does not allowed the average Filipino to speak out. Shams is one and the other most common ones is smooth relations. They. certainly seemed happy in public but there are alcoholism, deep depression, and less Monet to feed the children. Try living among them for one year and u will lose substantial weight and gain some valuable insight about the ordinary folks.
