I'm a bit confused about how you turned the circles into a gradient by a)_clicking group/white swatch b)_clicking magenta watch? - How was this achieved? 2:43m - It's a blend but how did you get to that - did you use keyboard shortcut?
I do it in isolated mode (2:32), which means I can manipulate blended objects, first I select the big circle and change the stroke and fill, then I do the same on the smaller circles.
@@nobudesign Thanks Nobu, just succeeded -2nd attempt. +Big thanks for getting back so quickly, especially as I'm just working on these pattern vids. :)
nice
Круто спасибо.
When i export the image i get lines inbetween, very tiny lines, its like tiles. How do i get rid of it?
Check this czcams.com/video/L6O_O_6lajA/video.html
I got a problem. After I export ,y file as png file, there will be some thin lines between each pattern, do you know how to fix it?
Check this czcams.com/video/L6O_O_6lajA/video.html
It is also found in Thai pattern.
If I apply this tutorial for my commercial work. Is it legal?
I have the same question!!
Help me please. I made Ethnic pattern. I'm sure the line size is the same. And I use the refect left and right, top and bottom methods, but it has no joints or not completely.
May be the object not overlapping like "Pattern" method.
@@nobudesign Do I have to convert objects to patterns?
I dont know exactly what result you want.
@@nobudesign I sent you a picture in the e-mail
Can someone teach me how to animate this wallpaper
document site 500*500 pt , object 100*100 pt , but I still don't understand the video at 1 minute 32 seconds. Why is there a distance of 100 * 25 pt?
Cause you need to overlapping the object 1/4 of the object size.
About document size, it doesn't matter. because the purpose of the pattern is to fill object seamlessly.
@@nobudesign I think too, 25 + 25 + 25 + 25 = 100.

This is not Japanese, this type of pattern is actually originally from Mainland China. During Tang Song period, this type of pattern then was introduced to Japan.
In fact, it's a traditional chinese pattern
This pattern is not unique to Japan, but a traditional pattern used in all East Asian countries. Also, it is the latest time to be delivered to Japan.
At first I knew that this pattern is called Seigaiha and it is identical to the Japanese Kimono pattern, and I searched again that this pattern has been used in Egypt, Persia and around the world.
Thank you for your information.
Nice Ai tutorial :) keep doing the best work. I actually have my own channel about Adobe illustrator and maybe some of the information that i offer can help you guys with your designs! PEACE!!
Not "Japanese Wave“,it is a Chinese traditional pattern . 🤦♂️
Hey! Your work is incredible! Wondering if you've explored DTF gang sheets in your printing process? @fastdtftransfer
