I actually quite like that jet form. The way the head forms a central thruster really sells it as slightly more than just a throwaway mode for me personally.
That is a really neat detail. Though now I can't stop picturing the Fallen shooting flames out the back of his head in robot mode, like some Robotic Ghost Rider Hellspawn thing.

Actually he reminds me a lot of movie 1 megatron
It kinda looks like a Xenomorph spawned from a sled.
Jet mode is nice
Seeing The Fallen finally getting a proper figure 13 years later feels nostalgic for me. The 2009 movie was the film that got me into the Transformers series, and it feels nice to see him finally in studio series form.

I think it would have been cool if The Fallen had turned into his jet mode to use his teleportation powers, it would make sense as alt modes or most often for transportation
Well he did transform and then teleport in the film.

@@jobobbob5825 Indeed. And the moment he teleports to the pyramid to start the star harvester, you can see his feet are connected to each other and his arms are in a weird round shape.

The sad part is that I've watched movies like Alien, District 9, and Dune to name a few and honestly, The Fallen's vehicle mode is 1000% feasible. I mean, have you seen the shit that flies in Sci-Fi? I'm not disagreeing that it's weak but I will completely admit that it's a great alien space-craft as it follows the sci-fi aircraft cardinal rule of being a clusterfuck of parts that needs to navigate 0 G.
I agree, even if it doesn't look like itd fly in our atmosphere.. maybe that's just why he didn't transform in the movie, I dunno

More so that Fallen was never actually designed with an alternate mode, and his vehicle mode was basically invented by toy designers to give him a vehicle mode
It does look like an alien ship. Just like Megatron from tf1 2 and a little of 5 and Soundwave series 83

Since the fallen is a prime he would technically have an alt mode older than modernish cybertronians like back in the golden age this could have been a fighter mode he adopted as a means of keeping the title of prime or as a means to travel the galaxy and stay in contact with his seekers or find more planets to harvest the suns from
Yes, The Fallen didn't have an Alt Mode in the movie but he was more of an Alien Protoform. And I think if he did Transform, he would have taken a Cybertronian Jet Mode that would have been very much what Hasbro gave him. I don't think he would have ever taken an Earth Vehicle Mode as his mission was to Harvest Suns/Stars.
He transforms when he teleports in the movies like ROTF soundwave kinda it’s like a fast-travel dotm stealth force thing
The Harvester doesn’t harvest suns. It harvests Energon, destroying the sun in the process.
I LOVE this figure, definetly getting him. I do think you and other people have been a little overcritical on the alt mode, though. If megatron can have a face on the front of his tank mode, this cybertronian jet can have hands visible
His hands being visible reminds me of bugs crawling around. Fits the Fallen's vibe.
I Love this jet mode tbh
Imagine if the fingers on the visible hands actually push buttons on the jets exterior to do things like launch missiles and stuff

What a beast! A while back I was expecting them to just go with a voyager class for him, but seeing this SIZE I'm glad he's a leader. Looks great next to jet-powered Prime! This is what studio series is all about bby!

This figure captures the design PERFECTLY! It's reminding me how creative those rotf designs were in particular. So freaking innovative and interesting. I love it!!!
it would have been cool if the Fallen came with a bunch of face plats inspired by the other primes so u could in theory have the other primes as figures, given it is there Big debut in the film, plus marketing wise, it be a good excuse to sell multiple of the same figure, or have them including, u can change the head to reflect the different primes, given they look to share the same body design in the film
That would be cool. All though it's definitely possible they can re-tool the fallen 12 more times and give him different hands and heads for the other primes. But I think they didn't really spend any time on the Primes in the film design wise. I would prefer their comic designs, personally.
@@jeepdino7353 well not even retool the figure, just give the 12 other mask for the other primes, and that would have made fans happen, some of the body designs are slightly different but they share the same design, so really i can see a 3rd party company making the other 11 masks

I know they shares simlar aesthetics, but some of them have shoulders taller than their heads, different feet, even more fingers, ect.
I don't want people to start to think the Fallen and his Brothers were twins.

12:55 i mean, if you stand the jet mode up you can get a similar look to the Sun Harvester. Accidental desing? Sure, but its close enough
You should’ve seen the look on my face when I saw this on my notifications. This figure, at face value, is fantastic. It should be enough to give this character his own Facebook page. The designers did a fantastic job with this figure, especially with his face. A face so well done, it was given to Optimus Prime. He made a terrible mistake to face off against Optimus Prime. He knew his deliverance was about to come. For his face would later be in Prime’s grasp (and his Facebook wall). Prime rose, and the Fallen has fallen and couldn’t get up. This is Truly the face of Studio series.
IMO I always thought he looked Egyptian in design. The pharaoh kind of look to his face mask. It would have been cool to see him possibly transform into a spacecraft looking scarab
That was my favorite thing about him. His Egyptian type of look.

This is my favorite figure in my collection (followed closely by ss31 Battle Damaged RotF Megatron). I really love this one, and it's great to have on my shelf. It also helps that Revenge of the Fallen is my all time favorite movie lol

Yeah my local Walmart sucks. They have mainly bulk/overstock figures, so I have allot of the same one transformer on the shelves most often.
Epic review PrimeVsPrime!!! I had no interest in getting this figure at all, but your review has convinced me to add this figure to my collection. I may use this as my G1 Violen Jiger Transformers figure. lol Keep on being amazing.
He has a really good face sculpt, has a boss vibe in him. The jet form is really cool. A must have toy/figure.
I think this figure is so far the best rotf figure in studio series line, im actually okay with the jet on how they designed it, the triangular shaped jet looks cool, a good attempt for the alt mode but i think considering we havent seen him transformed to alt mode clearly, they could have worked more on the robot mode, the articulation especially, the details are pretty amazing ngl, see how they have improved over the years, nice review mate!👍🏻
Would be cool if a future upgrade kit came with an extra set of hands to attach to those ball joints so you can have him with four arms if you wanted
He looks awesome! I even like the alt mode. Hasbro has been nailing it lately with these Studio Series figures, they’re mini masterpieces in my opinion. Great review!

Regardless of my feelings on this film, the designs of the characters and the franchise in general, this is a really nice figure, it comes full circle in helping me appreciate what artistry did go into this character design.

I immediately pre-ordered it as soon as I saw it on Amazon. Now I'm just awaiting the opportunity to order or Pre-order the Premium Finish Bayverse Optimus Prime.
Also, something I personally would like to see in the Studio Series line, is a transforming Skids and Mudflap that turn in to their little Chevy Sparks, or better yet, them as the Ice Cream truck. But if that does become a thing, the "Suck my popsicle, Decepticon!" sticker thar was on the side of them, that has to be mandatory for me to buy it. 😆😆

It’s beautiful, I’ve looked at this for five hours now.
I'm glad we at last have the Fallen, love the robot mode, the alt mode is ok considering most people are gonna display him in robot mode, still glad the designers leave a post in the back of the robot mode y bottom of the alt mode for a stand. In SS line the character with the strangest alt mode is Bumblebee Movie Soundwave, at least the alt mode of the Fallen looks like an alien jet.

The articulation looks amazing. The alt mode is fine, but I think it has potential for some really cool fan modes that look even better. I do think the original voyager actually has a better and more cohesive-looking alt mode, although of course this new one wins in bot mode 100%. I am so excited for this guy!!!
Yes!! What a figure. Finally a decent representation of the Fallen. Looking forward to your review of the upcoming Hot Rod. That is the one I'm looking forward to the most from the movie figures, especially the Lamborghini mode.

Just realized something. The removable face opens an opportunity for 3D printers to create alternate masks and create the other Primes.
Although I think some of them have different parts from the Fallen though.

The new alien ship Mode looks quite good imo . Obviously it's not the best but it's a decent vehicle mode after all

Funny thing, but I find that we saw The Fallen's Jet form on screen for just a second. Right when we see him teleport to reclaim his matrix after resurrection of Optimus. Before the light of his teleport appears, we can see him actually descending in that form.
Aaaah! He looks so awesome! Alt mode is weak but no one is going to display him like that!

I really hope you get your hands on Pointblank soon, I'm so worried about whether he'll have a bicep swivel or not, and from what I've seen on the Seiberton forums and the Transformers subreddit a lot of other people are too
For the those side parts on his head those were already blue when we first see him on the Nemesis after Megatron and Starscream meet again. Also we see them moving in a wave like motion when in close up shots.
Wouldn't it be cool if this were retooled and recolored sever times in a box set of the Sacrificial Primes from ROTF.

@@donkeykong6426 I can envision this figure with those EXCELLENT KO metallic paint jobs, diecast for weight & ratchets in the joints...they also use light up features in the eyes...I don't care about the alt mold for this character but this SS bot mold design does look on point...I just hate that greyish gunmetal plastic they use because it washes out the molded detail imo...
And I just got the old version like half a year ago from ebay. But it was for a good price so it's not so bad. I will definitely display them together. And it will probably be another half year until I get my hands on the new figure.
Honestly, I definitely want this figure more than the other studio series figure. One thing to note that I don’t know if it was mention; where is his staff? I mean, we saw it in the promo images, but I didn’t see his staff.

1:14 I thought he was more like a Predator with the staff weapon and gills and how he growls back then....but I only noticed now he does have Xenomorph elements.
I actually really like the alt mode to be honest, and i still have my original rotf figure, they will look great together

I hope we get the other 12 prime for rotf and a core class QuinnTessa from TLK and now I want to see them make a mpm version of the fallen with all of the gimmick and a switchable chest and back piece so we can make mpm Optimus prime punch though him so it looks like he's ripping his Spark out and we need a upgrade kit just with 4 pieces back and chest, the matrix of leadership and his Spark
