Rising off the club walls?that?s just a normal night with Sean Finn in his prime time behind the turntables.
Sean Finns career began way back in a legendary club named OZ in Stuttgart.
Gathering experience and learning from nightlife colleagues, he soon set off towards the goal of his first own house production ? successfully.
Not long before Stuttgart became way to small for him, so he started off on the mission of making the turntables of clubs in tourist strongholds his home during summer months. That?s how he was able to observe that the most prospering club tunes are developed on exuberant parties on one of those Balearic beach Mecca?s. And because he has such a good vibe for what?s hot and what?s not he now votes for the German Dance Charts (ddc).
Starting off his radio career, he was booked regularly for Sunshine Lives popular program Midnight House. Additionally he made guest appearances at miscellaneous radio channels, nowadays he plays at the private station Big FM, where he gets the turntables spinning along with DJ?s like Milk & Sugar, Tom Novy and Tiefschwarz for the much beloved Cross Media format Big City Beats once a month.
2002 Sean Finn became resident DJ for the party sequence Starflyer held in Frankfurt?s hip club Kinka Mehameha as well as Stuttgart?s club M1, where he shares the decks with stars like Axwell, Steve Angello and Bob Sinclair. After many regular and guest appearances across Stuttgart and the Rhein-Main Area it soon became common knowledge even outside of south Germany, that Sean Finn can absorb individual desires exceptionally well and somehow manages to always play the right record at exactly the right time. Mesmerizing his audience for a whole lot longer than just that one night, he?s played himself straight into the hearts of club owners and dance lovers at the same time.
By now he?s usually booked one or two months in advance and is often seen behind the turntables of large festivals such as Nature One or the SWR 3 Arena of Sound, where he gets these big crowds moving along with acts like mousse T. and DJ Tonca.
One of his biggest successes up till now: his own productions for the English label UK Records where he?s on his tenth release at the time. John AquaViva got the Canadians from BugEyed Records to re-release the song My Eye (My Sharona Bootleg) with Sean Finn producing this hit in Switzerland?s DJ Charts, where he had already managed to secure the first position for many weeks with his track Talking in Your Sleep. The smashing Release party in Ibizas El Hotel Pacha brought him into position 14 of the DDC and all other Dance charts, as well as scoring with the English Mixmag BigTunes.
Following up this success he produced The B.O.M.B for ?Skyy Night? which Airplay Rec. (a branch of the French major company Network Music Group) licensed off straight from the beach 17 times for countries including USA, Canada, England, South Africa, Spain, Germany, France and get this: Japan! Italy voted this track onto 5th place in their dance charts.
So now your thinking ? this guys always on the road. But somehow he still finds the time to lend his skills for external productions and remixes. But don?t worry, his next release is coming soon and you?ll hear from him!
