A Rainy Walk in a Beautiful Small Town of Germany.
Lauenburg is situated on the northern bank of the river Elbe, east of Hamburg. It is the southernmost town of Schleswig-Holstein and belongs to the Kreis (district). The population of this town is only 11,644.
Lauenburg is a notable old town with a number of historic buildings from the 17th century and earlier. In the past these houses were mostly the homes of sailors. Today, the area appeals to artists as well as tourists. (source: Wikipedia)

This brought back many memories of my time in Germany. I wish I could walk the cobblestone strass in the rain again. One suggestion to the videographer....please go into some of the shops during your walk. Also, it would be great to see the segment end with you entering your own home to show people the average German Haus. Auf Weidersehen.

My dad was an American POW at Stalag IIB and he crossed over this bridge from the East and the 82nd Airborne was waiting on the other side on May 8th, 1945.
