I just don't understand Audi's war on exhaust tips. This is such a cheesy afterthought for thr quad-exhaust, which used to mean something "S" model Audis. Very disappointing, considering something like the VW products have the exhausts actually connected. And you can't get a lower trim because you get the super lame fake exhaust outlets. I dunno, the competition just seems to offer more, and the Genesis GV70 looks really promising. Its the small things that Audi misses here. On a fully loaded Prestige trim, you can't get cooled seats with beautiful quilted-leather seats. That is a luxury faux pas.

What a great SUV - beautiful in design & styling inside & out with horsepower to match. Very enjoyable review - loved the exhaust! Bet it was a great ride & tough to return! I did notice the quick flash of a parked white Tesla at the beginning! Hope you can do some updates on it. Mason looking increasingly distinguished with his emerging beard! I love the car, but what the heck is with those extra exposed storage compartment on the console??? They look like a cheap after thought. I still love this car , waiting for sportback to hit the floor! This has been the best video on this car!
I wish they would have done a better update on the interior on this, and the A4/A5. But I still love love love the SQ5.

Very very nice. My nephews girlfriend just got a new Q7. I told him he needs to love her long time. At least until the warranty runs out anyway. 🤣 Love this, the Tiguan, and the Cupra Ateca for reasons I can't explain. I like the directions the VW Group are taking much better than anything I am seeing from BMW and Mercedes. Each design exercise from them seems to be trying to be too many things in one execution. I also believe those two manufacturers are wasting a tremendous amount of money by redesigning every one to two years. Thanks for another great video. Cheers.

Just got my 2021 SQ5, glacier white, red leather…real exhaust option.
Factory real exhaust tips is optional now; the price is $1,250 before tax, dealers usually do 10% - 15% discounted for that.
My wife and I bought our first Mercedes E-Class 3 years ago for her so when I went to look for a new vehicle for myself in the past month I thought for sure I was going to buy a Mercedes and looked at and drove all of the G Series thinking it was a guarantee that I would fall in love but boy was I wrong. The only one that even remotely interested me was the GLC coupe but one thing that I could not get past was the 6 in or more of black textured plastic that goes around the entire lower section of the vehicle. It's that cheap look that within a very short period of time requires constant attention to continue looking black otherwise it has that gray ashy look. I tried hard to get over it but for the price I just couldn't do it. I did a lot of research online to find an alternate and try to give every company the benefit of the doubt and when I walked in the Audi dealer and saw this 2021 SQ5 I knew I just found exactly what I was looking for and when I drove it it was a done deal because I literally fell in love with it. I bought a White prestige model and in 2 weeks I can honestly say I have not come across a single CON. This vehicle looks the part and drives the part and isn't missing a single thing that I'm interested in. I LOVE MY SQ5!!!
Should have looked at the GLC 63s AMG. IMO it’s a much better car the pan the Audi.

Tested it, one loaded with options. Great car and glorious drivetrain but let down by vague steering feel even in dynamic. Anyone else feels the same?

It works to an extent like the RAV4 but then there’s taking it to far like the Outback IMO!
@@ryanfrisby7389 The Outback is probably my limit as far as black cladding goes. The CX-30 has far too much for a subcompact SUV.
It still amazes me how similar all the German lineups are. This and the X3 M40i are much more similar than different.

Nice, but I think I would opt for the Q5e. About the same performance as this but far more efficient, albeit less flashy and sporty.
Would be interesting if they could review a Q5 with that powertrain.
My fave interior color is the Magma Red quilted seats! Does the Audi have interior ambient lighting like the GLC, X3?
Yes, it's running underneath of the aluminum trim the whole length of the dash. Also around the center tunnel and door trims

I've been watching Audi (really the VW group) begin to dismantle the one time great driving vehicles under the umbrella of VW's control. Just a decade ago if someone wanted their Q5 in a more personalized flavorAll they had to do is check off the right box! This is no longer the case or has been for a few years now. Once I could get that wonderful 6 cylinder diesel engine with over 30 miles per gallon highway of course but still, outstanding fuel milage overall. A finely appearing exterior with out that butt ugly black plastic cladding which is now available with additional costs of course! Nope...Audi has taken their best model and truly mucked it all up! Today...I'll take the GLC 43 over the SQ5 without reservation! The goggle maps is great and all, but that some one trick pony anymore.

They never show the 21inch rims. These look a bit different in Australia. I only ever see SQ5 with 22 inch or 21 inch like my 19 and more sporty look and it is the best car I have ever had. Mid size bullet. Need the flat steering wheel.

There aren't any fog lights but there are some "all-weather" lights which are just the extra bulb next to the headlight inside of the unit

Is the Signature OLED Tail Light Package available in the US to add on for the Q5 as well or you would only get that package with the SQ5 Prestige??

@@CarConfections ok, you’re right. Doesn’t make any sense, but I looked up the Audi trannys and their S Tronic is dual clutch. I just figured if they did have a dual clutch in some vehicles, they’d never opt to have it in their less sporty models, while having a torque converter in their sportier models, but that’s exactly what they did and it makes no sense to me.

While this car seems great on paper, every other vehicle in it's class beats it in some way -> the BMW is faster, and more fuel efficient and has better cargo space, the Merc is also faster and more luxurious, the tech is better in both perspective. the Stelvio is faster, the Volvos is faster. What is special about this Sq5?
