- in this video we go about getting our 2nd cut silage lifted, the loading shovel wasn't able to cope so we had to call in reinforcements with the 7718s with its loader pushing up, liv got stuck during the night and I had to push her out, herron trailer had a small breakdown but the main thing for the 1st time in a long time we got it all in in the dry!!!! unbelievable

Would be handy to have a push-off grape for the front of the 6499 on standby.
Great video. I'm sure the parish is proud of u!
Nice video Phil. Glad you got it all in and drier than usual. Nice to see your uncle well enough to be back on loading shovel again. 👍👍
Great video! One of your best. Nice to get the silage in dry. Makes all the difference. Love the longer video. Longer the better and that's what she says!
Another blockbuster there Phil.
Great to get the grass in without rain.

at 23.20 as an old farm worker down here used to say "" there are things you can do in the dark and this isn't one of them "
Noel Hickey 23:20
Should do a machine tour with couple facts like hp and what the machine does on the farm
Eoin The Man Hegarty he did
I hope to do one at the end of the year
Unsung hero driving the harvester. Treasure that man!!
Brilliant video your bro is getting better with the filming 👌 👍🏽
Good to get it put away dry
As always good video content , hope u got what u need for winter from this crop. Have a good day u and your family.
Great family keep up the good work 👍👍
Phil that’s some pit of silage!
Bro Phil great shots 👍
Great video Phil long ones are always the best and especially silage
well phil here is a tip when it comes to topping off a trailer , at the back of the cab of the harvester just above the door mount a curved rectangle mirror on its side facing the trailer and the driver in the trailer will be able to see right to the back of the trailer even with the load full
Done this before, definitely recommend Phil
A brilliant video well done to all involved 👌👌👌
Great video good to see your all doing well
As the old saying goes make hay when the sun shines because it won't belong before it rains 🚜🇮🇪☘️😎☀️

Farmer Phil presents Silage : The Movie
You're really knocking it out of the park with videos lately, no wonder you needed time to edit this beast!!
Great video Phil typical organised chaos but all works out in the end!
Long time fan rarely comment, but jaysus there was some great shots in that video. The one on the back of the silage trailer showing filling and tipping and the panning shots around the last field were first class! Well done.

Fantastic video Phil. You should be on an advertisement for Tinder lad probably the best suited match that was ever made on the thing ye found a woman who can do it all haha. Keep up the great vids lad 👍🏻
That’s a fact lad 😂
100% right. He met a good one in liv
Great video lad and seriously well put together. Took 3 days to watch it but it was worth it. U really deserve to have a subscription for this quality of a video. That's a perfect example of an family farm 💯💯
Excellent video Phil 👍👍👍
Nice one Phil, great video!
I reckon a buck rake for the front of the 6499 would be great job for bigger pits Phil..
I love it , Great day for the parish 😂😂

Great long video Phil! I think it's you're best made and edited ever! You're brother did a fantastic job with the drone and his other filming was good too.
Fair old clamp this year.
Top quality
Alright farmer phil, just to say that i really enjoy watching your videos mate, keep them coming!!! Martin from Devon England
re bonjour une vidéo vraiment très belle merci 👍👍👍👍
Honestly I'd have no problem helping draw in silage if yous needed a hand. Would be fun
Good content
Need a buckrake for the 6499
Do you have many acres of grass silage between bales and pit also how many acres of wholecrop do you cut
Do a video about the castle please
Lads the number one rule when driving the rake is always drive in straight line lik you should always do the longest length you can get not doing that triggers me
Why straight line??
Easier for chopper to fill trailer as doesn't have to worry about turning and looks nicer
That jcb 320s keeps notching up a tier on the shopping list haha
JCB320 would be downgrade from the venieri 😂
If shes not blue she'll not do how?
DarLav those little telescopic loaders are only toys Phil needs a real loader like a 416
@@ethanearle9457 jcb 320 or similar can do a lot more than one of those big auld shovels as far more versatile, one thing for sure it would be twice as fast climbing the pit.
a grape on the 3690 would be a hand
liv is some pilot on the 6270
On the 7718S
How do Phil. How was driving your loader then . Cos I no its normal your uncle doing. Glad you managed to get all in its raining over in UK. 👍🔧🔨🚜 from Andy in UK
Good video phil did u get new tyres for the harvester u should have put the 6499 on the broughan
can you do a video on the 135
36:30 I was goin to mention it
You can’t bate the dinner in the middle of the day. I have mine at 1 aswell
should get a buckrake for front link arms
I've only started watching your videos now. I really enjoy them!
How many cattle do ye have
That’s a great video. Worth the 40mins. Good stuff. How many acres by the way? Very identical pit size to ours. Sore on the telehandler climbing it.
There’s about 210 acres in the pit now
Well phill great video I think it might be time to bite the bullet and upgrade the loading shovel we had so much silage this year we had to make a wall at the front of the pit and have a little track to go up and down to the top to roll it and bring up the tires
Well given the fact they have already bought the 6499 , the 3690 and the MF 50 itll be another while yet
Edward- Clancy well the 3690 is phills and the Massey 50 couldn’t have been too much but u are right about the 6499
Good drainage in that field or just not much rain there lately phil? it looks it great condition anyways!
Is that 135 going into the barley field running and usable
Haha 21:05 you just see puffs of shmoke
I think that Jaguar's a bit confused; I've not heard of anybody snorting lines of 'grass' like that before - I thought people rolled it and smoked it.
[Just say "No!", kids...]
What weights would the 6499 and 7718s be?
Th umbilical tractor wouldn't be a bad job 4 rolling the pit
U should get a buck rack for the 6499
