Ugly thumbnails are ugly, I had no idea what to do for this one.
Okay so I never really got how Sasuke could have known about Sakura being a medical ninja even after being 'far away from the village' for so long, it makes me think he was still keeping tabs on his old team-mates even if it was subconscious. That gave me the idea, instead of focusing on Sakura's feelings for Sasuke, what if Sasuke was the one who had started secretly trailing Sakura and developed an obsessive love as they grew older? It's funny, I was afraid that after sasusaku finally became canon after 18 years (I've shipped them for 10 years WHAT EVEN) I might get bored of vidding them, but they're so perfectly angsty and they have such a long and complex past I find it really hard to fit everything into short videos. I might go re-watch some genin episodes now!
(and cry about the fact that knowing pierrot it's gonna be another year before THAT hug and forhead tap get animated)
Because my laptop is a disaster whenever I edit something new I have to delete everything off FCPX and then manually re-add the right footage, it's a nightmare. But I got my first proper summer job yesterday so hopefully that will help in my quest to save up for a new one :') Unfortunately that means the +1000 vid is going to take longer than expected, which sucks! I'm struggling to find inspiration for some of it too ;_; But I'll get there eventually :) Hope you're all well ♥

Amazing! I just started watching Naruto (episode 80 right know) and I love Sasuke and Sakura together. She's cute and the exact oposite of him... That's what I call perfect match hahaha
I hope i'm not too late; but...you should really read the manga... the studio hates the ss paring because they wanted ns but kishi said no so they manipulated every single ss moment in the animation process...i promise you that in the manga ss is much more exciting than in the anime
wow, now that you said that, I'm actually kinda relieved, because I started watching Naruto and really didn't understand why so many people loved this couple, and I thought I would ship it more than that but ... i really don't like it that much... Now that you said it, I'm probably gonna read the manga after watching the anime to see if ss appeal to me more in the manga !

*SPOILER IF YOU WANT: DONT READ AHEAD IF YOU DONT WANT SPOILER:*
-sasuke blushing at sakura subtly flirting with him(this happened after his introduction after saying "he didnt like anything"...while in the anime they made him say that after sakura was flirting with him with an angry expression on his face, making it look like he was rejecting sakura)
-sasuke winking at sakura after giving her credit to cheer her up from being sad (yeah that happened in the manga while in the anime they just made it look like he was only proud to have someone skillful in his team and not like he was cheering her up,he didnt even smile or wink)
-sasuke blushing and being fluttered at her hugs (in the anime they made it look like he was pushing her away and they changed the script to "go away dont hug me" while the original viz translation was "uhm...okay...im fine...uh you can let go *now*" plus in the manga he was letting her hug him)
-sasuke holding sakura's hand seeking for comfort since he was in pain(sakura was the one that grabbed his hand in the anime and it was even his hand it was the side of it)
-lol sasuke looked angrier in the manga when sasuke saw that they hurt sakura(he looked like shit scary angry while in the anime he looked like the regular kind of angry)
-when orochimarus minions came for sasuke it was full moon and he decides to leave on a crescent, letting us know that he didnt just leave right away and struggled to make the decision to leave(while in the anime he left in the same day that the minion came for him since he left on the same full moon)
-sasuke smiling at sakura(yeah that happened in the manga sp removed him and made him look unamused at her displays at strength)
-when sakura advances fowards to hurt madara,sakura didnt see it, but there was a panel of sasuke being worried(while in the anime,although he still saved her, he just looked annoyed)
-when sakura asked him questions he looked away like he didnt want her to know about his revolution plan(while in the anime that scene wasnt even animated)
-when sakura apeared before him in the manga he looked surpised and wanted to know how he got where she got(while in the anime his expression just looked unamused, like he dint care)
-the 685 moment in the anime was nothing compared to the manga(they made sakura look weak like she was fainting,also they made it look like sakura pushing her chakra onto obito was what closed the demonsion of where sasuke was at, instead of opening longer like in the manga)
-when sakura was about to be eaten by kaguya's sand sasuke looked worried in the manga(while in the anime that wasnt even animated at all)
-when sakura said "sasuke kun" he said "here" as in letting her know where he was when she called his name,in the manga (while in the anime that also wasnt even animated at all)
-SP were the ones who separting them in the last and gave the excuse that they didnt know they were gonna be canon even though the vas said that kishi had told them since the beggining of the anime
-haha even one of kishis assitant who also ships "ns" was the one who gave the idea of the "karin mama" drama
-in boruto the movie they basically made *them* ,out of all the families, look miserable(besides making them look ugly they made sasuke and sarada look angry while sakura was forcing a smile. Not to mention how they manipulated sakura's design sigh, while gaiden ended with all of them smiling together)
-in the upcoming anime they also told kishi to make sarada rebel against her father for always going on important mission even tho in gaiden and boruto the movie kishi wrote them okay with each other ...sigh
-theres lots of other shit they have done i cant remeber
-kishi is really dense so he doesnt really know how SP makes him do these things because they hate sasusaku and wanted narusaku...kishi loves sasusaku so he definitely aint doing this things out of spite...heck hes being calling them "to look like lovers" since prt 1...And i know that he is dense because of his interview stating "that he didnt want to be too bossy with sp" like WTF? Isnt he ,as the writter suppose, to be a boss to them? Not the other way around?...thats why i basically dont like kishi or naruto anymore...but sausaku will always remain in my heart...
ps SP also told sasuke's va to higher his tone when he talks with sakura because apparatly ,to them, he was being too soft and gentle...so if you ever come across a sasuke highering his tone with sakura in the anime....its because of SP

But when you say sasusaku was planned from the beginning, I don't think it's true, i think the canon pairings were defined way after the beginning ( it's what I read from kishi himself ). But, well, I guess it isn't that important...
I don't know if I will ship ss even when i read the manga, but i will a least appreciate it more than in the anime... I don't hate it, but i just don't feel anything toward this ship and everybody seem to think it's such a great pairing that I'm wondering if it's me lol.
I just finished naruto and i will start shippuden soon, and so far, I guess it's sasunaru which appeals the more to me ?

I really hope that he will give us meaning to their relationship, but I admit that I am happy that they have become canon. (sorry for bad english, I'm italian xD)

It was actually really strange in my opinion that more wasn't said about it, because out of everyone in the series Sasuke is one of the most reclusive people in the way he handles his feelings. We all knew how Sakura felt but I was annoyed that we didn't even get to see a kiss given how long Sasuke had been repressing his true feelings for her. I don't know, maybe it's because I prefer the angstier couples to the happy ones like NaruHina, but I really wanted to see more about how they first got together.

Perfect description of what would happen if Sakura said she loved Naruto. Like, just think about it. Sakura's been chasing after Sasuke for a really long time, and she never succeeded. So, she just fell in love with Naruto instead and said that she loved him. Naruto said he loved her too (because he has a crush on her), and they started dating. Sasuke actually feels really bad that he ignored Sakura's feelings because deep down, he loved her too. It's not like he was to shy to confess to Sakura, but he just thought of her as annoying. But it's too late now for Sasuke and Sakura because Naruto and Sakura are getting married.
