- I just built a language learning app to practice conversations 🚀. Speaking is how many of us learned languages as kids, but it's often one of the last things we do when we learn languages today because it can get expensive and time consuming to set up without traveling to the country. I'm hoping that this app will make it easier to practice speaking whenever you want to become fluent faster in Spanish and (eventually) other languages.

The Spanish voices sounded acceptable for language learners. I am speaking as a Spanish teacher. The one thing that I think needs some work, in terms of pronunciation, is the internal "r" in words. I heard two anglicized pronunciations for the internal "r." I heard a soft r sound between vowels, and an r sound that sort of transforms into a ch when combined with t. I hope that's clear. I am a Spanish teacher, but not an expert in linguistics, so I hope my comments on the "r" sounds are understood.
Salient feedback! The Spanish pronunciation gets thrown off a bit now, especially when it’s switching between English and Spanish. That’s also on the list to improve 🙌🏽 Thanks!

Disculpeme para mi escribiendo y conjugacion mal, estoy aprendizaje sin ensenadores consistentes y no puedo mensaje con acentos. Tambien, en la manera similar como dijiste, estaba aprendizaje con el intento a hablar y escuchar. Mi escuchando esta horrible😫

Tengo una idea tambien, y espero que te gusta suficiente a hace real. Por que Kreyol Ayisyen es tu idioma nativo (perfecto acento ingles, btw) quiza puedes ensenamos esta lengua, o en los menos hace disponible en tu programa? mwen no pale o sabe mucho Kreyol, y hubo un tiempo que yo estaba serio..Haiti esta el vecino de la Republica dominica, entonces naturalmente ahi vive muchos haitianos.

It looks great, but there's no way I'm paying that much a month and still have to worry about how many messages I've spent.
Very helpful feedback 🙌🏽 Decreasing the price is one of the top things on my mind. The technology itself is expensive which is unfortunate, but I’m working on ways to bring it down for all current and future users. Hope to have good news soon 🙌🏽
@@JerryRegistre Thanks Jerry, I totally understand where you're coming from, I'm not expecting you to put in all that work for nothing. I've got paid subscriptions to many language leanring apps, Duolingo Max, Langotalk, Falou, lifetime licences for Clozemaster and Drops and lots more. I bought your ChatGPT book and signed up to your Patreon a couple of days ago, so I'm not shy about spending cash on language learning, but to be honest when I saw the prices for the subscription tiers my first reaction was to just say no way, and uninstall the app. Even the highest tier only has 350 mesaages a month, so just a little over 10 a day, so it';s pretty restrictive.
I think if it was $200 a year unlimited or $20 a month I wouldn't have hesitated in paying for it.

Yup, the accent is American for the voices I used during the video. The app has a few more voice options as well (5 voices to start)
Hoping to add accents over time for different languages and regions to really get specific
